This overhead tripod mound it a great product! I used it for a more unorthodox use, to mount my lightburn laser camera above my working area. It did the job exceptionally well and enables me to use the camera to set up my projects with little effort. The tripod is sturdy and well made. It is flexible, but holds it's position when set very well. It comes with a phone holder and a camera screw mount. The clamp is also very effective on my glass table and has not damaged it. Cheap cheerful way to get a permanent hold on your phone if your found demos, etc. Very simple to use, screw clamp onto any surface and positioning by many pivots, all can be tightened. There is a spring loaded clamp on the end, you will need to take your phone out of bulky curved cases. If you’re positioning top down on to a desk, view, well for me it hasn’t fallen out once, if your phone is bulky, heavy then you may have problems facing straight down. Fantastic value for what it can do. Recommended to anyone who needs a tripod like stand, in a flexible arm.

Easy to put together, didn't even need the instructions. Tested with my Samsung galaxy S20 FE and fits perfectly. It's kinda fiddly to get the phone in but you want it to be secure! I recommend taking the phone holder off, putting you phone in the screw that section back on. Definitely recommend this product for the purpose of filming from above.

I have been looking for something that will hold my S22 ultra firmly above my desk to film top down tutorials for a while. I have had a few different things in the past and nothing was very good, until this, which was recommended by a friend. This is a very sturdy arm for my desk, it's flexible, easy to set up yet also discreet enough to put away when not using. I have used it for a few videos now and I am impressed!

Bottom section bent out of shape very quickly when adjusting the arm to the point where it's no longer useable, and it struggled to hold the weight of my phone. Don't recommend.

Despite it's rather low cost I am finding this is working well to support an iPhone SE2, for desk video where the phone is looking down at the desk. In fact I have it permanently clipped on to a shelf in the office now and swing the arm around when I need to film. It stays in place (I have removed a couple of springs mind you). The spring holder is fine, these are always a bit of a fiddle but they all are. Definitely a product I can't live without now as I can't think of any other way of doing a desk shot looking right down without some elaborate, expensive or slow to set up tripod/rig. Note though I am using it with a small phone. I am unsure whether this would be suitable for heavier set-ups like mirrorless cameras. The reason I use a phone BTW is they close-focus so much better than bigger lenses on mirrorless cameras. For those interested, my set up is this arm going to an iPhone SE2, remote controlled using Filmic's apps on an iPad which I use on the desk as a monitor and to start/stop recording.

The phone clamp itself is too shallow to grip the phone properly. It also makes it difficult to operate the camera once it’s clamped in. A phone case makes it worse. But I do like it.quality is good at this price. I’ll modify it slightly a couple of rubber bands should hold the phone better. It’s quite sturdy but will shudder if you tip it. Overall good value, just the clamp that lets it down, very cheap plastic, have a good one ☝🏼

L'instalazzione risulta molto semplice e fin dal primo utilizzo ho notato un'ottima costruzione, con materiali buoni e resistenti. Risulta molto stabile con un buon raggio di inclinazione e rotazione. È possibile agganciarlo su ogni tipo di superficie (l'ho testato su un tavolo di legno) attraverso un morsetto molto robusto.

Ich nutze es wenn ich Abends vor dem schlafen gehen, noch ein wenig YouTube oder Netflix schaue. Es hällt mein iPad und mein S21 gleichermaßen, ohne Probleme. Das Einstellen geht sehr einfach und schnell. Alleding ist mir relativ früh ein Plastikteil abgebrochen aber ein Ersatzteil war mit dabei.
