Like others have reported this comes with a figure 8 Europlug. Just use the lead from the surface charger.Besides that, this item was sold as new by amazon, in fact it has been used before, as some components had their tape removed and I could see finger prints on them. Basically this is an original unit that is sold for less than half what MS is charging, so I am not too bothered.But for the full recommended price I would expect MS to included at least an USB-C to DP1.4a cable.

Microsoft surface dock 2, works as expected but is supplied with a European 2 pin plug not a 3 pin UK plug. For a product supplied for the UK you would of expected a 3 pin plug!

Unfortunately all the docking stations are supplied with 2 prong European plugs and the seller does not list them as such so you cannot use them in the UK. Totally a waste of time!

I received the surface dock in good time and when promised. Originally I thought this might have been a returned item as the edges of the box were only taped over, I later realised that even for an expensive product Microsoft had decided just to tape the edges of the box to seal it. When I opened it everything looked to be fine until I located the power cord which was not the correct uk plug but a euro type instead, there was no other power cord in the box. The product works well I am just very disappointed that it did not come with the correct power cord. They should not be selling this as described as it’s not the uk version. You wouldn’t buy it like this on the high street and shouldn’t be allowed on Amazon either! I'm just lucky that that I had another power cord that came with my surface pro that worked.
