I have had about 5 iPads now, I usually upgrade every second release or so, (roughly every 2-3 years) and have always used film protectors for the screen, first Zagg then moved to BestSkinsEver. This time I decided to try a glass one, though I was a bit wary that I couldn’t see any soecifically for the iPad Air 4; they all seemed to be repurposed iPad Pro ones, which I didn’t want to use due to the different hardware. I wanted one that was specifically designed for my product.I finally found a few to choose from and decided on Sparin due to positive reviews of their other products and the kit seemed to have lots of useful stuff in it, plus it had 3 protectors, which appealed to me because I could include at least one when it comes time to sell this Air 4 in a couple of years.The installation process was surprisingly good. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still just as much of a hassle as with a film protector, but Sparin has done a very good job of making it almost as easy as it could possibly be. You’ll always get a couple of bubbles or dust specs that (if you’re a little OCD like me) you’ll want to remove, and that’s where Sparin’s included accessories and install process really come into their own. The alcohol wipes worked well to remove the initial fingerprints and I really like the sticker-based alignment process. The instructions were a bit hard to understand at first read (“protective film” could have meant the actual glass protector or the material covering it) but once I worked out what the rough approach was it made sense, and I didn’t need to follow the instructions step-by-step.I also liked their approach to offering support videos: “to see how to remove bubbles, search youtube for ‘sparin A23’ video” ... clever to use a code like that.I’ve now had it in place for 10 minutes and typing on it is really comfortable. The screen looks great with no distortion and seems to ne resisting fingerprints really well.I like that the ‘notch’ is really small for the camera area, definitely better than getting a protector that was designed for the iPad Pro (that notch is about 10x bigger on thise protectors).Things that could be improved:- protector could be 0.5-0.75mm larger on each side so it covers all the black area of the iPad Air 4. I understand it shouldn’t go over the silver rim, but I think it should go right up to that point, both for looks and to prevent a ‘ledge’ that dust could build up on. Maybe that’s just me, though.- instructions could be made a bit clearer (get a UX person to help) and larger; if they are in a big box already then there’s no benefit in making them tiny, and larger means they could be made easier to understand.All in all, I’m really impressed and I have no hesitation in recommending this product. I’ll update in future if it fails for any reason, but so far I’m very happy with it!

Installation was typical for an iPad...cleaning and removing dust works great, but aligning the screen perfectly is seldom attainable.

Pain to get the bubbles out but the install was easy.

Watch the YouTube video. Easy install! I recommend using the dust remover sticker AFTER removing them protective film just before application. Use it a lot. The protector flips onto the Screen, you rub your finger as shown in the videos, and voila. Cannot speak to endurance as i just installed it. Everything works!

I’m generally impressed with the product but when I opened the pack and carried out the installation I found that the protector I had installed had a large gouge in it. I therefore had to use screen protector number two. This is not the end of the world as I only have one iPad but considering it’s such a nice product it’s a shame that my experience was spoiled by having one faulty screen. I’m not asking for anything. I’m just pointing it out!

Perfect fit, unlike a lot of other Air4 protectors this just had a tiny cut out for front facing camera - a lot of other protectors have larger cut out as they are really for the Pro models that have face recognition.No reduction in sensitivity (at least for finger - I don't have apple pencil)Just as smooth as original screen and easy to clean with micro fibre cloth.It was easy to fit as my bumper case acted as fitting template - would have been better if fitting frame included as it is with other sparin screen protectors.

The first thing about this item was the Price not to cheap or to Expensive then was the Packing a Nice strong Folder type Book and then the Item it Self, my first attempt ended with 2 small air bubbles I was unable to get ridoff because of the misalignment but my 2nd attempt I Used 2 stickers for aligning up the correct placement of the Screen Protector and ended up with no bubbles or no messing around trying to reposition the screen protector at all.First Class item

The most annoying thing about this product is that it is too small, this makes it almost impossible to line up correctly. I followed the instructions to the letter but still ended up with air pockets after two attempts. To say it is compatible with this model is misleading when it is more than 2mm to small all round. I cannot recommend this product on any level.

Easy to fit and underlying screen responsiveness is unaffected. The only issue we have is that this specific screen protector accumulates smudges very easily compared with the last screen protector brand we used.
