Replacement works great!
Amazon sent a replacement immediately. (Before installing the fixture, I redid the wire connections in the previous iteration to be 100% certain the unit was defective. Still no light.)I then installed the replacement and... voila (!), this one works. Thank you, MarK Bradford, for the many tips; I needed them all! Some observations: 1) The videos were informative, but it would have been helpful to see a video showing a hardwire installation balancing the fixture upside down. 2) I had to deal with 2 stiff copper wires each and they just wouldn't fit through the mini-knockout. 3) For some reason, I had enormous trouble closing the cover over the compartment. While one end of the cover strip was in, the other would pop out; this occurred even with the replacement fixture, i.e., my second time doing it and knowing exactly how it slides in.Original review: This light was a replacement for a defunct fluorescent light. After spending a couple of hours installing the light (tricky because of the hardwire installation), it does not work! The other existing fluorescent light connected to this one is working, so the wiring is not the problem. I just ordered a replacement for this one from the same company. If the new one works as expected, I will amend the review.

New and Good Feature with thiis
You get an extra switch with this so, if you have a multiple unit lighting area, you may choose how many are on. This is actually a pretty good thing and I didn't now about it before it was installled

Easy install, instant on
I chose this fixture over a few others because installation seemed to be the easiest and was worth a few extra dollars. I assume the LED quality is otherwise similar.I replaced an undercabinet fluorescent fixture whose switch had failed. It was mounted flush against the wall and I knew the wiring entered in the middle of the back. This LED fixture has knock outs all over the place, including the center of the back which I knew I needed. It also has plenty of room for the wiring. Both features are apparently lacking in other similar fixtures. If you watch the user video for this product, you can see how everything looks/works. That user attached a pigtail before mounting, so he had a slightly easier time of it, but I still found it informative. To minimize the upside down work time I did the following:- Removed the plate to access the wires and wire nuts. You can leave this hanging open as the wiring to the switch keeps it from going far. The screws are tiny and a little delicate, but I had no problem removing them carefully without damage.- Remove the knockout that I needed.- Started the mounting screws in their holes. A nice feature is that you can screw in several threads before the screw comes out the top - so they will stay in place as you position the fixture, even upside down. The mounting screws are not heavy duty, but that probably made them easier to screw into the base of the cabinet, which I was able to do by hand. The fixture is very light so I don't think it's going anywhere. If you think you will want pilot holes, then you should set the fixture in place and mark/drill your pilot holes before starting the screws.- Next I held the fixture up to the installation location, fed the wires from the wall into the fixture via the knockout and held the fixture in place with one hand, while I manually screwed the mounting screws into the cabinet above. Take care not to strip them. It went well, but I was prepared to back up and drill pilot holes if it seemed I was going to strip the screw head before getting the screws well set.- With the fixture now mounted in position and the cover hanging open, I used the supplied wire nuts to connected the 3 wires from the wall to the fixture.- The wires from the wall were solid and therefore stiff, so it wasn't too hard to get the wires to stay more or less in place before fitting the cover back on. The cover slots into the back side of the fixture, so you can get the back in place and do some last minute stuffing of the wires before swinging the cover into position.- Holding the cover plate in position with one hand, I was able to start the screws to secure the cover with my fingers - they are long enough to get a couple of turns started and stay in place without a problem. Then I (carefully) tightened with a screwdriver. If need be, you could have a helper hold the cover in place (or even tape it in place) while using both hands for the screws.I took my time with this, but it didn't take long. I could probably do additional ones in a matter of minutes, being familiar with the fixtures and the process now.The light (daylight version) is a nice med-bright white - just right for us. Don't see the need for a dimmer. It's also instant-on which some of my other LED fixtures are not.Overall I'm very pleased. Time will tell about durability - I've been disappointed to have several expensive LED bulbs fail quickly - hoping the tech is better now.

Great lights, dimmable, no heat produced.
These lights are easy to install and far superior to the incandescent set I replaced - bright without heat production. The dimmable feature works like a charm.

Easy installation
This lamp has more room for wiring. I did notice that the mounting screws were too tight within the fixture which required screwing them until the ends started to protrude to allow actual mounting to the cabinet. On reflection this isn't entirely a bad thing since the screws don't fall out with the unit upside down as you fasten it to the cabinet.

Not a problem to install
I was leery of purchasing this light to replace a failed fluorescent in my kitchen but took the chance. I successfully managed to get 2 sets of 14/2 wires into the box without issue. The resulting colour also matched the existing other units.

Bright and easy to install
Bright. Easy to install if you know basic electrical. Perfect replacement for the buzzing tube light over our sink. The screws that come with it to mount are slightly too big for the holes so I just switched to longer screws and since the light is covered I didn't care about seeing the screw heads

Great fixture
I waited a couple of months before writting this review in order to give an accurate assessment. I had been looking for hard wired under counter lighting for some time and found nothing but 12V or battery powered. I came accross these fixtures and bought two units to replace existing lighting which was outdated.I installed them under the kitchen cabinets on a dimmer which I recommend because they are very bright, similar to neon lighting. There are numerous knock outs on the fixture and installation was easy.I like this product, well made solid units, easy installation and no flickering on dimmer.I would recommend to others.
