Wireless door bell when I moved in to my house didn’t have a door bell so I have been looking for a solar doorbell so I don’t have to call a electrician in to run wires so this doorbell was a great option because it requires no wires and it get charged but the sun so it is a win win for me it’s works like a chime I now know if someone is at the door very easy to install I like that I can ask who at the door without having to open the door to see if I need to put the dogs away or not this is a must have for someone that looking for a nice quality doorbell

Upon receipt, the first transmitter of the doorbell system was dead, would not take a charge no matter what. They replaced it, received within a week. Installed exactly as directed and the "solar power" transmitter portion of the system, would only hold a charge for about a day, even after being fully charged indoors then installed in full sunlight. After charging it indoors again, it stopped working in less than one day. $80 down the drain and I threw the entire system away.I then purchased "Wireless Doorbell, Amicoson Waterproof Door Bell Chime Kit Alarm for Home at Over 1000 Feet Range Operating with 56 Melodies, LED Flash, 7 Levels Adjustable Volume, 1 Push Button & 1 Receiver" in it's place for less the $15. It only has one receiver, but it has functioned flawlessly since installation. Had the original worked similarly, I would have given it a happy 5 start review.I hope this review gives you something to consider. I saw so many good reviews, that is why I originally purchased it, but I guess sometimes things don't always work out as you would like. Best of luck with your decision and eventual purchase. I JUST GOT THIS THING.THE SOLAR PANEL NEVER WORKED.IT IS VERY FLIMSY WHEN YOU PUT IT ON DOOR.IT BROKE DOWN SO FAST!JUST STOPPED WORKING.DONT WASTE YOUIR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.

I didn't have high hopes from reading the reviews, but this turned out to be a great buy (although I hope it doesn't break too quickly). I just wanted a door bell which you can talk, but I don't need to pay a lot more for the video functionality.Even though it says waterproof for the outdoor unit, I still wrapped it in plastic and placed in the sun for the solar panel to keep it charged. It has been a month and still works without needing to recharging it at home. This product transmits voice very clearly between 100 ft of space, even with a house in the middle which usually interrupts the signal.The instruction seems to suggest that you need to initiate connections between the two devices before you could start talking, that you need to first press to ring from the outdoor unit, and wait to be accepted by the indoor unit. But really, you could talk right away after ringing it from the outdoor unit, which is really what I wanted.This product provided what exactly what I needed.

This worked okay for about a month. Since then it has died. I suspect the outdoor unit stopped holding a charge. Even after bringing it inside to a charger it only worked for a day and then died again.

If instructions were not detailed. Especially which screws to use to secure the outdoor unit to the back plate and secure the bottom of the cover to the outdoor unit. It did not seem that the screws provided were the right fit. They should have gone on smoother instead of having 2 link to use a lot of pressure to get even these smaller screws Inserted. Hopefully the the quality of of transmission will we'll be good. It is being installed at a pedestrian gate on the front of the house

The first one arrived with the battery out of the Outside unit. I had to wrangle the thing open to install the battery. I noticed there was a magic-marker X inside the cover. The thing didn't seem to work. I returned it for a replacement and the next one arrived in the same condition: Battery not installed in the Outside unit and magic-marker X inside the cover. I charged it and it seemed to function OK. But when I took the unit to the driveway gate, about 65 yards away, it couldn't contact the inside unit, so it is useless to me. Wife thought they were cheaply made.
