Great option
I wanted disposable gloves for handling utensils on cruise ship buffet, since covid and norovirus remain present on ships. I also did not want to add more plastic to earth landfills. These are perfect as they are compostable. I haven’t tested that claim, but the info given by manufacturer appears trustworthy. The gloves themselves are large in finger length, but a little narrow at base of individual fingers. I have a relatively small hand and the Medium fit me well. My travel friend has a more rounded hand and the Large will fit her better even though the finger length is too long. These gloves are perfect for my intended use. Would not work well for fine dexterity projects as the overall finger length and width would be awkwardly loose. I’m pleased with these. A few less germs passed along.

Good for the earth, sometimes rip.
Great gloves, but mine rip occasionally. Perhaps I’m scrubbing too hard but something to be aware of. EDIT: The seller has let me know that they accidentally gave me an older box. They have refunded me and will be sending me a brand new box of more durable gloves. Kudos to their great customer service!

compostable gloves
These are 'ok' for gloves - but they are very weak. So not for use in heavy cleaning. Best for light food handling - food prep - but not cleaning as they try to say in ad. The best part is that they are compostable. I bought 2 boxes - and I will use if I need to serve some light food. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. I also refuse to 'change' my review for a refund of a product I have given a poor review - and that is offered from time to time. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). It's a shame they phased this rating system out because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,200 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including well over 26,000 likes. BOTTOM LINE: I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

Best of these types of gloves ive ever used
Food prep gloves are often a pain, they are too thin and not shaped well enough to stay on. These are not fitted like medical gloves, but they are worlds better than any similar food prep glove Ive ever used. I was wary of them being compostable because so many bioplastics Ive used ripped easily., but these have a better fit and better durability than any Ive used, cover the seat of my palm and bottom of my wrist band. I can comfortably handle kitchen utensils in them, including different knives, and they didn't get sucked off in to the bowl, when Ive worn them to knead or mix things in a bowl. They've also been great for dirty scrubbing jobs, light auto maintenance and hair treatments. My hands don't sweat or stick to them and since I need to use a lot, Im very glad they are compost friendly. Being made by US based WMOB is also a great bonus.

My happiest purchase of the year!
OK I know that sounds extreme but it is true. For decades I have been frustrated by kitchen gloves that don't last more than a few months- and then they go in the landfill! I didn't want to use disposable plastic gloves. Then I found these! Compostable! They seemed expensive but I thought it would be worth it. The gloves are much higher quality than I expected. I can use one pair for a week of cleaning and washing dishes before they start to get sort of funky and I toss them.

It kept coming apart
I WANT to replace my plastic habit with compostable things like trash bags and gloves. HOWEVER, these are awful and CANNOT withstand long use...I basically use them to cut up some fruit and then discard. So for me to wash veggies, fruit, then cutting them all up...I'd have to go through either 2 or 3 pairs. These aren't cheap, either...so this was definitely a waste of money. I am not happy at all....and can't wait until I'm done using them. I basically have to find easier chores that doesn't require washing or cutting to use these. Because they're so slippery, I'd chop veggies while trying to keep the finger part out of the way, or else I'd cut some off. The hunt continues.

Bad quality
I’ve been buying these gloves for a long time now and they worked fine but this last time I ordered it seems the quality went down. Not sure if it’s just this batch. The glove material seems thicker and they rip so easily! Like extremely easily, they don’t even last a minute on my hands before they rip. Disappointed. I like that they are eco-friendly but I hope the quality improves so I can continue purchasing them.

Good gloves.
I bought both UNNI compostable gloves and compared them to Eco Gloves (also compostable). To be fair I did get the UNNI gloves in medium and the Eco Gloves in small. Next time I'll get the UNNI gloves in small too. I think both gloves would fit well (Eco Gloves fit better because they are a small). Obviously these gloves are not tight like medical gloves, but still have a little shape to them to help keep them from sliding off. Both gloves seemed to have similar durability. The Eco Gloves feel a tad thicker and have a slight shine to them. The UNNI gloves have a more matte look/feel. But the UNNI gloves are also cheaper. I'm having a hard time deciding which one I like better. I'll have to put them both to use to find out.
