GROLIER ORNAMENTALI MIDI LINED JOURNAL

I normally do not like ruled journals.. I use them as personal diaries, to write poetry, sometimes a few drawings.. my handwriting varies with my moods and at times I write across too.. all reasons the journal better be unlined!! However the cover of this book was just too good I decided to go ahead and buy the lined journal! And true enough, there were no regrets! The lines were keeping with the antique look of the book and weren't loud.. The paper quality is super!! I guess I wouldn't mind ruled books from this company in the future..

This is probably the most popular of the Paperblanks designs for a reason. It is truly a well-made journal. I really wanted the unlined version, but that’s been difficult to find in the midi size. I don’t like that the lines are wide-ruled, and that they have a margins on both sides of the paper. Not a fan of that at all, and I wish they would knock it off. But at least the lines are very faint. I won’t take off any stars for that, because they DO offer this with unlined pages. Just need luck in finding them (in this size).I plant to really use this journal. Beautiful things are meant to be enjoyed, and meant to be used for their intended purpose when possible. Don’t be afraid to write in it, to draw, to put stickers in the pages. Life is very short, my friends. Blank journals are boring. Doesn’t matter if you think your writing is trash. Just the act of writing in itself is cathartic. Trust me. Have fun with this beautiful journal. Let your mind expand to the possibilities within its blank pages.

Libreta pequeña, no leí bien la descripción del artículo ya en mano por el tamaño podría decir que es algo cara, pero la belleza de la misma, la calidad de los acabados, el lomo con textura, el broche.... Es una joya como libreta, diario o libro de las sombras que no pasará desapercibida.

Als ich zum ersten Mal diese Bücher von Paperblanks gesehen hab, ist mir der Mund offen stehen geblieben.Nach der langen Qual der Wahl hab ich mich für dieses Notizbuch entschieden und wurde nicht enttäuscht als ich es zu Hause ausgepackt habe.Die Nachbildung dieses wunderschönen, alten Einbands ist täuschend echt, natürlich sieht man, dass es kein Ledereinband ist, aber das Papier ist hochwertig und die Details sind liebevoll ausgearbeitet. Die Goldverzierung auf dem Einband ist vertieft.Der Buchrücken ist nicht glatt sondern quergeteilt mit "Rippen". Auch die Haptik des Buches ist sehr angenehm und die Größe (13x18cm) liegt gut in der Hand.Ein kleiner Metallverschluss in Messing-Optik schließt das Buch, damit es nicht ungewollt aufgehen kann und ein schönes rotes Band dient als Buchzeichen.Besonders gut gefällt mir auch, dass die Seiten (wenn das Buch geschlossen ist nach außen hin) mit einem schönen Muster bedruckt sind, das farblich gut zum Einband passt.Öffnet man das Notizbuch kommt eine goldbraune Zwischenseite aus festerem Papier, bevor die normalen Seiten kommen.Das Papier ist schön dick und glatt, jedoch nicht reinweiß sondern ein ganz heller Beigeton, passend zum alten Stil des Buches.Hinten im Buch finden sich auf der letzten Seite ein paar interessante Infos zu Jean Grolier (auf englisch) und eine Papiermappe um kleinere Notizen zu verstauen.Ich würde dieses Notizbuch sofort wieder kaufen und wenn diese Bücher nicht (berechtigt) so teuer wären, hätte ich nur noch solche Notizbücher zu Hause.Das Buch wiegt ca. 390g und ist etwa 2,8cm dick.Fünf Sterne von mir für diesen "Eye-Catcher"
