great pool tether
I used some pvc pipe in existing holes (for a volleyball net) and had to add a couple of zip ties on each side for some more length, but I think it's better since zip ties are easily replaced and whatever is connected to the pvc will rub on the cement and fray. I put a screw in the pvc to stop the tether sliding up, but since I'm lower than the strap I don't think it will be an issue. The water is not too choppy when I swim, but I do feel like I have to cut my stroke just a tiny bit short to avoid hitting the strap. Wearing it lower on my hips helps, but I can see that it might give me some friction burn after a long time. Overall, it works well!

Great for a Swim Spa
The media could not be loaded. I use this in the swim spa so I don’t have all of the water and foam from the water stream in my face. It’s more like swimming laps in a pool. The bands are just the right length for the spa that is 6.5 feet wide from inside wall to inside wall. It clicks into the anchors that are inside the spa. The belt is a good length for me, (misses size 12) but it also adjusts to fit my husband (size 36) and I let it rest below my waist and above my hips. I find it works better if I wear my water shoes to swim in the spa so I don’t hit my toes on the bottom or the wall.

Works Surprisingly well.
Was a bit skeptical this would work, but decided to give it a try. There was no bracket included so suggest you buy some D-rings. We have a wooden deck around the pool so easy to screw in the D-rings and then clip the belt on it. You then strap it around your waist, lay horizontal and then start swimming, keeps you in place and doesn’t get in the way of your arm strokes. Only reason for 1 star off was lack of rings to connect.

Buckle off but works well
Not sure if it should be like this, but the buckle is on my right hip, It takes a few min to get the unit on and then rotate it around so the two cords come out on the sides.I am using this in my swim spa and had to use rope to tie it into place. but after some trial and error it is working great, just wish the buckle was in the front.

... System for use in my 15 ft diameter Intex Easy Set up pool
I had previously purchased the Home Swimmer System for use in my 15 ft diameter Intex Easy Set up pool, attaching the long strand of webbing to a pillar on my porch deck. One of several problems with this system was that, when swimming freestyle and breathing to one side, the waste belt would shift so that the tether would eventually pull from my side rather than mid-back. The StretchCordz has two elastic bands that extend from both sides of the back - a feature that allows the swimmer to stay centered, even if breathing on one side. I wish the belt were as comfortable as the Home Swimmer belt which is a plush wide neoprene that sits so comfortably around the waste. I've ended up combining the two systems attaching the StretchCordz (just a wide nylon strap really) over the softer neoprene. It's a MUCH more confortable swim than the Home Swimmer. My legs stay closer to the surface and I never feel jerked backward like I did with Home Swimmer. It's also far more reasonably priced. I'm thrilled with the feel of this system and I'm sure I'll keep returning to it for many years to come.

This thing works GREAT!!
I love this set up !! I use it in my "kiddie pool" that is only 10 x 7 ft x 26" deep and it works great. It holds me in place without much tug at the waist, and the rubber strands never get in the way of my feet. It is strong and sturdy.

BEWARE: YOU CAN NOT RETURN THIS ITEM
We bought this trainer but the belt is too small. I tried to process a return to Amazon but apparently it is not returnable. This is not mentioned when you are purchasing.
