They are not heavy duty dies (you get what you pay for), but they work well for smaller projects. I used to re-thread support lugs for my drum kit hardware. I give it 5 stars because it work perfectly for my intent of purchase.

I was able to save one custom pin with one end that is threaded. Was able to use the 3/6X16 to fix the threads. That saved my enough money to already pay for this whole set.It was like getting this set free plus a few more dollars in my pocket.If you need to fix or clean up threads, this is a great starter set.I attached a picture of the pin that I saved with this tool.

This will get the job done for occasional use. Not for professionals but for the home DIY it's good.

You can't go wrong with this kit. It comes with both male and female set up's so i can fine thread one side of a couple while course threading the inside of the same coupler.The only con I have is the threader to create a female end, the twist tool, well the bit consistently falls apart.

This set doesn’t work well on hard metals. It works fine on softer metals and plastic but for a first set of this type it’s passable. This is not a high machine grade tool, strictly for amateur work!

Just what I was looking for. Seem to be well made no problems.

I have not used these yet. I got them as a 'spare' set for use in the basement. Although I have not used them, they look to be of a decent quality for the price.

Used this to tap a manifold gasket bolt hole on my Jeep CJ. Worked great and held up well.
