Plastic Bird Canary Budgie Cockatiel Seed and Water Feeder Dispenser Transparent

It came in a 2 pack. I’ve had them for over 6 months now and they hold up well and are very sturdy. I use them to hold water for my canaries. Not sure why so many reviews complain about size. These do the job nicely. I’m holding a pen next to one of them for size comparison. I only put water in these.

One of them was poorly made. Failed to test it before using and put it on the clean cage, only to realize a few minutes later the tube was allowing water to drip and the cage was soaked. No amount of adjusting/pressing/rearranging worked to contain the water. The tube just sat too high to work. Had bought this type before so never expected these to fail me. Only one of the two worked. Oh well.

My older parrotlet, Monet, refuses to drink from any other style of water dish. This is easy to pop open and refill, and relatively easy to clean. I also like that it just slides directly through the bars of the cage without requiring me to set up some ridiculous apparatus to hook it to the cage. Having this style with the small opening means that the water stays much cleaner than having one of the big open bowls. I will probably buy another set to keep on hand...

For more than $8, it's not worth the money even though I received a 2-pack. The water feeders are just a little bit taller than my pill bottle but half the diameter. Yesterday, I received a cracked bird bath from Amazon. Today, I received a twin pack of water feeders with one of them cracked down the side. It'll leak. I'm not even going to try to fill it with water.

For $12, I thought I would be getting a much larger dispenser. Since there was no item description with regards to the size, I assumed they would be on the larger based on the price. The dispensers arrived very quickly (within a couple of days of purchase), but when I actually saw how small they were, I was very disappointed. These two dispensers are VERY small. I would put these with some tiny finches, but definitely not with anything larger like a Canary, Cockatiel, or Budgie. If small is what you're looking for, you shouldn't be paying $12 for it. $6, maybe, but definitely not $12.

It's a good thing you get two! Very easy to remove and refill. The protruding part needs a q-tip occasionally to clean it, but they are great! The size-think prescription medication container. They're just a hair larger than that but that's what the size reminds me of.

These were recommended to me for my two parakeets who just seemed to love to poop in the water bowl that came with their cage. I was a little skeptical at the size being as it was for two birds but it hasnt been an issue. I did prefer to use these containers mainly for water as my by parakeets like eating side by side. But this was the best decision I made to switch over their water dispenser.

They are good for water only. If you use them for seed be careful. The seed will not come out for birds.You have to make sure that you don't push the plastic dome all the way down. If you do the bird will not get the seed. This happened to me and my parakeets almost starved to death.Thanks,TM
