Top notch speaker stand
I bought a pair of these ~7 years ago for my Monitor Audio bookshelves in my living room. Always felt confident with their stability. About a year ago I bought a second pair for a new set of $6k Genelec 8341a's in my music studio. Still super confident with their stability. Nice feature to fill in with sand/shot.Very high quality build.

These Stands are great
I have a pair of Yamaha HS80m's and they are huge and these stands are perfect. They feel and look great. Slick black kinda plastic, but def. looks more fancy than plastic. Stands 36 inches perfect for ear leveled mixing. I purchased a while ago some samson stands for 70 bucks on Amazon and they were a metal and swayed too much for me. Do yourself the favor and spend the extra 30 bucks and get these. Even though it was not prime, shipping was quick. Even included a return slip incase i did not want these bad boys. If you go to Sam ash and get the samson ones i purchased on amazon for 70 they are 130 at Sam ash. So save your self the money and time and get these stands wont be disappointed. by the way don't go to Sam Ash the mark up is crazy. Check with amazon first.

Poor Manufacturing Quality
Within the first two minutes of trying to put these together you’ll realize the pre-drilled pilot holes don’t line up at all between the parts. You will have to drill your own holes if you want the screws to fit.Additionally, the pre-drilled metal pilot holes had metal flakes and scraps lodged in them, making it it impossible for the screw to turn at all.Save your money and go with a different brand.

These are ok. 3.5 stars
Getting the sand in these is a pain in the butt, but at least mine didn't leak. That said, they are lighter than I expected even with the sand in them, and they aren't super stable on carpet. I wish the chambers for the sand were about 10 x larger so they could get a lot heavier. These are fine in an environment where there aren't kids running around or where you don't expect anything to bump your speakers or pull on the chords. If you have any of those 3 things happening, these could fall over.

Stands...in the place that you live.
No stands should cost this much. Not just these stands. Not ANY stands. They're all far too expensive. That said though, these are some nice stands and look great in my home studio. They're high-quality and will last a long, long time.

Sturdy, well made monitor stands for the Home studio
Took about 20-30 minutes to put these together. Hefty build with a relatively small floor footprint area, for all you home studio users tight on space. I'm pleased to say that they are as sturdy as I had hoped they would be (and thats without sand in them). The included carpet spikes really help to keep the wobble down on thicker carpet areas. I have two Yamaha HS80m Studio Monitors resting on Auralex MoPads (instead of the supplied 1cm foam pad) on the stands. This way I can angle the speakers up or down depending on my seating arrangement to get those tweeters pointing right at my ears. Though the speakers are bigger than the top shelf, all seems sturdy and the MoPads are staying in place. Great product! Glad I made the purchase!

These stands are Great!
I've had these stands for a few months now and they're great! At first, I was a little conserned that I'd have to put sand into the stands (I have 8 inch Mackie speakers) but luckily I didn't have to! The stands are slim yet sturdy and work well. I was considering making my own stands, but I'm glad I didn't!
