X-Treme Series XK4Z 4-Gauge s Amplifier Installation Kit

Quality cable. Thick power wire with not too much plastic jacket. It's a good compromise of price and quality. Not the best out there but pretty good and at a great price. The only complaint if I have to find one would be with the crimp on connectors. They were slightly difficult to crimp on the wire however that would mostly be from lack of correct tools but a hammer seemed to do the trick when the pliers wouldn't. Conveniently the power cable had it already installed/crimped on. The power cable was also cut at 12" or so which is ideal but it would be nice to cut it to a desired or custom length suited to your vehicles needs around the battery.I've installed 4 different cable kits and I highly recommend this one. The knuconcepts brand was my second choice when I was shopping around Amazon and went with this one because it had the remote wire included. I believe the other brand had the remote on the rca but I would prefer a separate cable. The two brands are good and probably some of the best on Amazon and I would buy this one again.

We bought this amp kit for the installation of an amplifier and some rather large subs in my sons car. The installation went smooth and it sounds great. The only issue that we ran into was the length of the ground cable, the car is an Altima and the cable is just a little too short. It connects but if the sub box moves at all in the trunk it will pull the ground cable off of the amplifier. That is our only complaint, the sound is clear, strong, awesome. We can always tell when he is coming home based on the thump, thump that we can hear from the inside of our home. Haha. I would definitely go with this kit again, it has been a good quality kit at a great price.

This is a good set of wires for cheap.My only complaint:The power and ground wire could be longer.....The insulation is more than sufficient; I currently have the RCAs running next to the 4 gauge power wire....This is a big no no; but I have no whining or other noise of any kind.....Thanks to Amazon and thanks to the DB Link for quality cables at a cheap price.I am sure there are better cables; but these are overkill for my budget system....The price was right!!!!!The kit is definitely something I would buy again.....

They kit is a great kit, my only complaint is the negative wire could have been alittle longer for my install, (so I could have used the factory bolt) but that was my fault for the placement I chose. The kit works great and my only real complaint would be that the power on wire and the RCA's were not made into one molded wire like most kits, but the power on wire is top quality.

Good wiring kit, using it on a Kenwood 7005PS, which is 40x4 and 300x1. Wiring seems consistent with description. I've had no problems running my set-up. Only complaint is the RCA's are not great. I ordered the DBLink CL17Z RCA's and they are much better quality than the ones in this kit.

Excellent kit, I was pleased. True 4 gauge, showed it to friend (helped me install it) and his first words where "did you spend enough?". He actually wants to buy one to replace his set after seeing it.Would have paid $20 more and still would have felt it was a good/fair price.

Did exactly as planned, the only downside was that the power wire had a pre-cut section for the fuse, and this limits the distance you can put the fuse from the battery which limits placement options. Overall good kit, cheap and correct 4 gauge wire.

Has everything you need to install. RCA cables are a bit cheep, I upgraded mine later and hear an improvement in sound. Other than the RCA cables the rest of the cables are good quality. Ground wire is very long, I was able to use excess on other projects I was working on.
