7/11/21 UPDATE: battery is officially dead and does not recharge, usage about every weekend in the kitchen for avg 20 mins. Had the battery for about 6 months before it stopped working. Try a different battery or the OEM if you want quality.A life savior. Or at least a Dyson savior. I was about to buy the new DC Dyson as ours would not stay on for more than 20-30 secs and die. Knew it was the battery and after a long two day review of OEM, and all the sellers on here I went with this one. Basically, 90% of these batteries are made and constructed in the same factory/shop but some have a little better OC and this one had named brand lithium ion cells.It was a perfect fit, fixed our Dyson DC10 with even more power, easy to swap, and so far it seems to been just as good or better than the original.

I needed to order a replacement battery for my Dyson V8 Animal stick vac. This was a great choice. It is more powerful than the replacement and the price was very good. Iy works well.

The battery fit fine and worked ok for 4 months then just died and has no power at terminals

Edited Review: Battery is only 2 months old and is only used a couple times per week. Battery now does not hold a charge at all. Battery dies after approximately 10-20 seconds of use after being on charger overnight.I purchased this battery after watching a couple "which dyson replacement battery is best" videos. There was a common consensus that this was the better value. Either I received a fluke, the other options are plain horrible, or the videos were inaccurate.-Yes the battery works.-Yes its cheap.-No it did not really extend the runtime of my V8 Absolute much more than the two year old original battery.Vacuuming the same areas, on the same setting still causes the battery to run out a nearly the same pace as the old original battery. Only a minute or so of use will cause the battery indicator to go from "full" to "2 lights". A few more minutes and its down to 1 light. A few more and its dead. Total of maybe 6-8 minutes seems to be the average run time on max setting with medium pile carpet.

Wow. What a difference. Dyson works better and for twice as long as when it was new. Easy to install.

The battery was easy to install and fit perfectly but only lasted 5 months. After 5 months it will no longer charge. I will not be buying this brand again and can not recommend it to anyone else based on the short life.

Within 6 months of installing the battery it was completely dead and will not take a charge. Will never buy again
