Great, Really Sparkly !
I got Silver and Rose Gold which were perfect for the look I wanted, really pigmented sparkly and shiny.It's cocoa butter based so its solid at room temperature and the flavour (of cocoa butter) is not effected by the colouring. You have to melt it and mix it to be able to paint or splatter the colour onto your chocolate mold or cake. Mine came out great!

The colour was completely fired out and could not be used.Not eligible for a refund so a waste of money, do not buy!!

Works well when you read the instructions
Used to colour white chocolate ganache for a cake drip. Yes it is rock solid on opening, there are full instructions on how to use the product on the tub and it worked exactly as described when following the instructions. It was the perfect red for a spiderman cake and really simple to use - a little goes a long way!

So, I was challenged by my kids to make an engine spilling oil as a topper for their dad’s birthday cake. Don’t laugh at my efforts… even if it was pretty basic! I bought this to cover the modelling chocolate engine which it did beautifully. Easy to use. One star less because it takes a long time to melt so it’s usable. You also need a couple of coats, but actually that makes it more flexible if you don’t want 100% coverage on the first coat. I have three colours, rose gold, gold and now silver and they’re all really good.

Not for me
This is the stuff my nightmare is made of I’m sure. Not only was it completely solid when it arrived (completely normal apparently) I had to microwave it (as per instructions) for the fat? To melt. And in the process of melting, stirring, it splashed out and I got it everywhere!! My hair, my top, my white counter top. Yeah no never again. Surely there’s something similar with less hassle? Nope nope nope!

Item completely dried up and unable to use
Have had sugarflair food dyes that have been fine in the past but this one was completely dried up and rock hard, unable to use. Have tried to mark it up as defective or damaged to get a refund but just keeps coming up with ‘this product cannot be returned’ and no offer of replacement or refund.

Excellent product when you know what to do with it!
When I initially purchased this product, I thought I’d been ripped off & believe the seller is getting a lot of unnecessary/unjust bad reviews! I thought this was similar to other sugaflair gel colours & it’s not! It needs to be microwaved before use and is a fabulous product when you understand what it’s for and how it’s used. I’ve used it on multiple cakes now, it’s a beautiful colour & I’ll be purchasing more!
