So far so good for HP 8050. Now that HP/ Samsung is unreliable for ink and printing supply I thought I'd wasted my time and investment. This was a shot in the dark. So far works very well for general use - note you won't be able to tell ink remaining level as that can't be restored due to HP's technology / poor customer care and design. You'll have to guess. Other than this is a lucky break, thought I'd have to buy a much more expensive printer to get an in house 6 color process back. Glad my "long-term" investment in this 8050 isn't a total bust. NOTE: too early to tell if this will be good on "fine-art" style printing for long lasting photo prints. However, the fact that it works at is great. Probably will be best used on more Matte style papers as the glossy stuff is also a custom recipe for each company/ ink combo and HP has abandoned it's products without even releasing a firmware update to allow ink level reading after they dropped support.

Wow! I have nothing to substantiate this claim (except my experience with this first time purchase) but these LD replacement cartridges are performing BETTER than the brand new HP cartridges I purchased just before buying these! I thought maybe my printer was broken after purchasing brand new HP cartridges only to have them fail to print properly - even after several re-alignments and cleanings. This purchase was a last attempt to see if I should keep the printer or throw it away, and I am so pleased that the printer will continue to be used - with these LD cartridges from now on!

This color replacement ink cartridge was listed as a replacement for 95 or 97 HP ink cartridge. IT DOES NOT WORK. There is a tab at the back of the cartridge that prevents it from being inserted. I WILL NOT BUY THIS AGAIN. IT CAN NOT BE RETURNED, A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!

The ink from HP for the 8150 Photo Printer is no longer available so had to try this brand. Installed fine in the 8150 but image quality is washed out. Not acceptable for photos.

Totally a waste of money. I know it was cheaper that the "real thing" but "you get what you pay for". Will not do this again..

Delivery was earlier than projected and the quality was as goog if not better than that of the original manufacturer HP.

Did not work on my photosmart 8750.

I have an older model HP OfficeJet 6310 and HP no longer supplies the 99 Photo cartridge. This cartridge works like a charm - I just printed out a dozen very high quality 8.5 X 11 images on glossy photo stock and can't believe the quality! Great colour, finish, and absolutely no smearing. Thanks for filling the gap left by HP in not supporting their older models. Just a small note - HP makes it hard and while the printer accepted the cartridge it won't recognize the toner level.
