We bought this light for Zoom meetings.It clips handily on the back edge of the computer desk. The clip is very sturdy and holds well.The light itself is bright enough at fairly close range. It's NOT a ring light for professional portraiture and doesn't claim to be. Besides video conferencing, I could see it being used as a light for product photography. There's a nice range of brightness levels to choose from, and you can adjust the color temperature in three ways: cool, warm, and in-between.The cell phone holder uses a spring clip to hold the phone. It's a powerful spring that holds firmly. It widens to hold an iPhone 6+ without a case, but that's it. Anything wider won't fit. Just adding a thin case to my 6+ made it too wide for this holder.Note that the light is powered by a USB outlet. If you don't have an available USB slot on your computer, you'll need to add a powered USB hub to get more outlets or use a power adapter for a wall outlet.Overall I think they have a good product here.

I expected the clip to be much stronger or at least bigger if it was going to hold a light and phone, jus bumping my elbow into it by mistake makes it slide or even tilt until it falls off. It's also not the brightest but for a smaller light it does really good. The gooseneck that holds your phone however can't handle the weight and will always sink down or tilt if the phone is already touching the table. All in all, I wish I got a better quality one for the same price.

This lamp died after not even 3 months' worth of use. It's been well-cared for, and just stopped working. I now regret this purchase.

I love the strength of the light & its different options. (You can even change the different kinds of light.) It's easy to use by touch and the light doesn't flicker or hum, & the hardware seems pretty solid overall.But the phone holder Itself is pretty awful. The armature is fine, but the expanding clip/phone holder part feels like flimsy, cheap plastic, & it just sits over a large ball bearing at the end of that second armature. So while the clip arms hold onto things okay (though they could definitely be deeper, given the size and thickness of phones + their cases nowadays), as soon as you try to swivel the phone-holding clip bit, it pops right off. Plus once you add your phone to the device (and I have a standard size phone with a gel case, nothing massive or oddly heavy), the whole entire structure droops, bigtime. (And you've still gotta keep your phone pretty straight on top & forward-facing on the ball head regardless, or your phone just pops right off.)So all in all, while I've been pleased with this item as a task light, as a phone holder it's absolutely useless.It's too bad the holder/clip aspect isn't the same quality as the rest of the item. If it were, the whole thing would work pretty flawlessly.

I have been using this for virtual conference calls because the image on my phone is better than the one on my laptop. (Plus using the phone frees up my laptop if I need to type anything or look at materials.) The light is perfect ...warm and flattering. I can angle it and the phone camera anyway that I want. I like this so much that I bought it for my friend for her birthday.

You get what you pay for. The gooseneck is not strong enough to keep my iPhone pro max at any sort of a downward angle, even ever so slight, with the case off. I have to have the light gooseneck in front to help support it. Kind of a pain.Speaking of light….. it’s not as bright as I expected.Table clamp is also weak and just a nudge of the table makes it move.The phone clamp itself is too tight on the phone.

Love this light so handy for many things!

It was ok first few days but then the light started dimming and not as bright. It's twistable at any angle that's good but for the purpose I bought it for, not doing good job.Variety of brightness and light selection is good but again, it keeps zappong out and light brightness keeps fluctuating - annoying
