Horrible
I bought 2 boxes of these June 15...They have a 10 warranty ...Almost 4 months later 4 have burnt out .....There is a 1 month return .....Something is wrong here ......

Lights in my range hood burnt out and the LED alternatives don't work. Others are selling these for 27.00 or more apiece!

Works as expected in our vent above the stove.

It replaces a Sylvania 39W halogen bulb
It replaced a dead bulb in a small recessed light fixture in our ceiling. No replacement was available at our Home Depot or Menards.

Lights out!
I purchased these bulbs for my den in November and they light up the room well enough, however they blow out after 2 weeks or so. I’m not sure if I got all flukes- but it’s annoying. They come 6 in a case and I’ve already replaced one bulb, THE SAME BULB, 3 times! In other words, they DO NOT light up my life. Edison would be ashamed!

Perfect bulb for what I needed
Bought them to replace the bulbs in my Viking Professional Hood. They were the perfect fit. Nice "warm bright" lighting while cooking.

Both died after 6 months
We installed these in our range hood above the stove. They were bright and there was no noise or "ghost current" like LEDs. However, both bulbs went out within days of each other about 6 months after installation. We took care to install with gloves so the oil on our hands wouldn't cause these bulbs to go out sooner. Looks like we're switching to LEDs as I'm not interested in replacing and paying for these every 6 months.

Right bulb, right price
It is always very difficult to find the exact right bulb. This is for an over table light where we wanted direct downward light. These bulbs are perfect
