The scent is not overpowering and leaves a very subtle smell after. I normally get the Tobacco Wash, but the Sandalwood is great as well. These washes create a medium lather with only a little bit of wash utilized.

The packaging reads, "lathers like a boss". Maybe if you rub your hands together for 5 minutes or use a ridiculous amount of the body wash. The scent is also much milder on the skin than you might expect, if you're buying this for the scent don't bother.That being said, I got this because my soap and hard water were drying out my skin, and this helped rehydrate quite a bit. If the price were a little lower, I'd probably give it a 4.

Chiefs makes good quality, albeit expensive products.I've used their face wash and body wash and would recommend both. The scents are what sets them apart from other companies. The Sandalwood scent is great and I also really enjoy the Tobacco scent.The bottle is 12 oz and lasts about 2-3 months. They used to package the wash in a 16 oz bottle, which I think was a much better value and lasted about 4-5 months.As long as I'm not strapped for cash I will most likely continue to purchase their products.4 stars.

This product smells horrible. It doesn't lather up like other soap does. Please don't waste your money.

This bodywash has a nice scent, that is not overpowering. However, it does not lather as well as I was expecting it to. I have had to use several squeezes of this bodywash, when I take a shower. All just to get a decent lather going. A twenty buck bodywash should lather up better.

First, the scent. Holy smokes does this stuff smell good. I've used other wood scented washes, but this is the best by a land slide. I love it. My girlfriend loves it. What more could I want? Second, how it cleans. My experience with body washes and soaps up until now has been that body washes leave me feeling like there's a weird film left on my skin and soap just leaves my skin dry. Chiefs does neither. I feel clean without being left dry. I don't know how they do that, but I'd guess it's the super natural (not supernatural) formula and ingredients. So, Chiefs leaves me smelling better than other washes and feeling cleaner than other washes. Winner.

Smells good and leaves my skin feeling clean but doesn't lather nearly as much as other shower gels on supermarket shelves. For that reason I won't be buying it again.......takes a lot of soap for 1 shower making it far too expensive to use on a routine basis.

The sandalwood body wash by Chiefs is a good product and is what I expect from a body wash for men. I like that it's made without harsh chemicals and made in the USA. As a design student, I really appreciate that the bottle doesn't have crazy colors and some gimmicky name...simple and clean design. The reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is, it could be thicker but I'm just being picky. The scent is great and leaves you feeling clean without any residue. Would get again
