Made for Amazon Mount for Echo Dot (4th gen.), Black

There is no doubt that this product is as described and works. But the price is totally shocking. This is a simple injection moulded product, I'd estimate the manufacturing cost at around 50p. I bought it in a sale at £9.99 but still think it's a rip-off. I wouldn't normally leave a review but this is taking advantage of people and does not represent value for money.

I bought this to wall mount my echo dot thing.Big mistake. The dot I have, has a digital clock built in to it. And once this mount is used, it points at the floor. So I can't see it.And it will only allow the dot to fit one way so that the power socket and "headfone" jack line up.I possibly could mount it under a shelf... But that raises a few issues too.Design... ImpeccableUsefulness... Not so much.I am using it with an adhesive pad with a ring hook on it, attached to a short wire "stay", because I have cats. And so far, it has saved my device from hitting the floor many times, because of CATS..Overall, for me... Not a good buy. But others like me, with cats, can use this to save their device from getting broken... By cats.

I know everyone raves about these sticky strips. These are 3m ones so not cheap knock offs. But. I hate them. I cleaned the wall. I waited i stuck them on and waited more than the hour stipulated attached the holder. It fell off in 15s.I don’t really want to drill holes in the wall as there is likely electrical cables and water pipes in thereSigh

Considering this is the official Echo Dot holder it is very Poor and Dissapointing to stick anywhere I've tried everything and it keeps falling off?!

I would give it more stars but I've put back plate on the wall but find it impossible to attach the front piece to it, HELP

I have 3 of these! They are brilliant for my partially automated home. I am disabled and use crutches to get about. Being able to switch lights on or off in specific rooms with voice control. I also use mine in conjunction with my Ring doorbell to advise visitors it might take a while to get to the door. Having them dotted around in different rooms means I can listen to radio or music without disturbing the neighbours with excessive volume.

I was very impressed with the packaging alone. It comes with command strips included for a damage free installation and holds the speaker securely.I can’t find fault with it.

Used the command strips it came with to secure it to a wall. It fell off twice in 5 minutes. It's now sitting on a worktop, having binned the command strips as ineffective and useless.
