Excellent design; no need to get your ring(s) re-sized.
This ring size adjuster set works like a charm!!! Due to weight loss, my wedding/engagement rings were constantly sliding on my finger and the diamond would keep getting pressed on my upper palm and that hurts! I had not known this design was even around...I only saw the noodle type design and didn't want that because of all the gunk that could easily get stuck inside it (icky!). I'm glad I did some further searching and found these and it was a great buy for 3 adjusters. They go on very easily. They do size down your ring(s) nicely and because of the open design, I've never had anything get stuck between the adjuster and the ring itself. I do find the adjuster sometimes slips while I sleep - meaning it is not on the back of my ring completely but has shimmied over to one side or the other. No big deal; I simply shimmy it back where it belongs and go about my day.The only drawback, and I think this would be true for ANY ring size adjuster, is that it does make it difficult to get your ring over your knuckle if you have larger knuckles like mine. Mind you, I don't have huge knuckles, but they are larger than where the ring sits on the finger so sliding the ring down is a bit difficult. But I can get it over the knuckle; it doesn't stop the ring from moving down, it just kind of gets hung up and a little force is needed to get the ring all the way down. Again, no matter what design ring size adjuster one would get, they would all have this same problem.Great purchase because I had no desire to have my ring resized. My weight loss is temporary due to some health issues so I only wanted a temporary solution and this certainly fit the bill.

Does the job perfectly
This actually works!!!! I have tiny hands and even a size 5 usually doesn't fit my ring finger. I therefore have to wear all my rings on my middle finger which is annoying. Other ring guards (like snuggies) are chunky and very obviously seen. I don't wan't to be walking around with a huge block around my ring. This ring guard is small (although still can be seen somewhat from the other side) and fits perfectly. I may even have to trim off a few coils as it made the ring very snug. I can now wear my rings on my ring finger which may not seem like such a big deal but it's a victory for the small people!!!! Buy this- it will make you happy.Update: 1/1/2018 I took off one start because of one small problem:after several weeks of usage the coils become dirty and gray (which is disgusting) so I need to replace the coils every few weeks. Still a great item... but with a short shelf life.

Darn good adjuster!
I was a little apprehensive about getting this because of the reviews but I needed something badly. I have been losing weight and my grandmother's wedding ring was very loose. I didn't want to size it at the jeweler because I don't know what size I'll be when I get down to the weight I want. When I first opened it I was a little disappointed. It looked like just a plastic curly-q. I found the directions a little vague but since it was a spiral plastic piece I just started on one end and circled it around the back of my ring. Took about 2 minutes. I have to say that it works. I can now wear my grandmother's ring! The reason for the 4 stars is the spiral plastic piece moving around my ring. I have to adjust it every so often. But I would recommend it. The plastic adjuster itself is for rings that are very small, so they would not work on a larger ring band.

These work well!
These are quite useful for me. I have really small hands and slender fingers (yes, I play the piano AND I'm a crafter, thanks for asking haha) and apparently a size 4 ring is still too big for me (I haven't seen any smaller sizes). So I bought these to fix that problem. I have to double these up, but ultimately I can still slide the ring over the finger joint and have it sit comfortably on my finger without sliding around TOO much. I do have to adjust it occasionally but much less frequently than before. If I use enough of these, I can even wear the larger-sized ring (was it size 5? 6?) I have that is pretty but doesn't come any smaller. Happy these exist!P. S. They do occasionally start to come off, and again I need to adjust a bit, but it's not a huge annoyance. It's worse if you have to double up like I do.

Just what I needed!
It's just what I needed came the very next day. I lost a bunch of weight and I had been wearing the matching wedding band over top of my engagement ring to try and keep it on, so this was the perfect solution to get my ring fixed since I am not married yet. It coiled around my ring perfectly and it's not really that noticable. I will add that I am super picky about how things "feel" on my body so something awkward between my finger and my ring would definitely frustrate me but this does not bother me at all. And I ordered the set of 3 small and it fit perfectly around, I think If I got any bigger it would be noticeable. And now I have 2 extra just in case.

OK ring guard
I recently lost weight and my engagement ring keeps turning, where the stone is no longer center. I am ready to have the ring resized yet so I thought this is a good find to keep the ring fit. Here is what my experience is:Pros:- This is very easy to put on- For my size 6 ring, the medium size one is a bit long but very easily trimmed to fit- It did the trick to keep the ring and the stone in place (I think it probably makes the ring about 1/2 size smaller)Cons:- It comes off easily if you take off your ring- And if you don't take off the ring to apply lotion, lotion residue got stuck in the ring guard- The curls did get loose under hot water as another reviewer indicated, which needs adjustment after washing hands with hot water- The price is kind of high for three plastics curls

Watch out for sizing
Really great that it works, but the sizing is very misleading and unclear. My ring is small, but my fiancée but a size too big and so i looked for something to temporarily fix the size. I bought SMALL because as it says in the description(buy small for small rings) but it seems like perhaps they should have said to buy a bigger size based on how much you need it to be adjusted. A size medium would have worked so great for me, but I'll have to work with the size small. I also don't really like the price of these, almost $10 isn't that great for a temporary fix.
