A nice simple kit with well fitting parts

My dad had bought this model from a local bookstore when he was a kiddo back in the 60s. My grandparents kept the guillotine on their stairwell and I remember running straight to it at nearly every visit after giving them their "hiya gran and gramps!" hugs. Grandma was an artist and put a little bit of gum eraser on ol' Louis' neck so his head would stay on until I dropped the blade (his head had a tendency to fall straight into the basket when he was put in the prone position).I've bought 3 kits since. Two included an extra glow in the dark version and they went to a niece and nephew.
