Hitting Net
Had low expectation but have been nicely surprised at the quality and ease of use with this unit. The net has stopped 100% of balls. It takes about 2 minutes to take down and fold up the net when bad weather is coming...less time to put it back up. Highly recommend!

Solid and effective, though the final verdict about the net is still out
I bought this net just over three months ago and use it almost every day for 30-60 minutes, perhaps 100-150 balls per day. Though I agree with other posters that the assembly instructions (basically all pictures, no words) are trash, the process is basically intuitive so not that hard. I initially struggled to bend the side poles enough to reach the net loops at the top, because I feared snapping the poles, but they are definitely sturdy. I also discarded the hanging bullseye target almost immediately, because it sounds like a gunshot when a ball hits it after a full swing. Due to my limited space, I can't really move the net around to alter the impact spot where balls hit it, so most of my balls end up hitting a relatively small circle of the net. This situation has led to some signs of fraying in that circle, though no ball yet has even threatened to slip through. I do sometimes have mishits and have had a handful of balls hit the side poles head on, with zero damage to the poles' integrity. Moving the net by myself on ground that isn't totally flat, without dismantling the net first, can be a little tricky, because the ground rails are quite long and will catch on any bumps they encounter. Two people can move it very easily, though, because the unit is very lightweight. I'm really happy with this purchase, in spite of the possibility that the net could give out eventually.

Christmas gift
I purchased for my dad as a gift. He loves it! There was some confusion with the assemble at first but there is a video and instructions provided on the product page. If it’s windy sometimes we’ll come out the next morning and it will be laying down from it getting blown over.

operates/performs exactly as described
I recently purchased this item.Setup was easy. The directions were adequate.I went through my bag, pitching wedge through driver, using real golf balls, and it worked great.Plenty of 'net area'.The target is great.Took it down and put it back into the carrying case.It all fit perfectly. It operates/performs exactly as described.

Poor construction and quality control (UPDATED)
-----Update-----So I've had this net for a few months now. My original issues with the poor construction and quality control still stand. Nevertheless, it does work. Sort of.The primary net is still in good shape. The secondary "sacrificial" net has been falling apart. Has a few holes in it big enough for multiple golf balls to fit through at the same time. They claim it's heavy duty. But having to replace the smaller net after only a few months of use is just ridiculous. No way I'm spending $25 every few months for a new one. I'll reach out to the company to see if they'll do anything. But I don't have high expectations. And am assuming the best course of action is to just make my own sacrificial net. Which will be much more robust. Is it a golf net? Yes. Does it function as such? Pretty much. Is it high quality? Not really. Is it durable? Negative.Ultimately, it can work. But you might be better served looking elsewhere and spending a little more.-----Original Review-----Was excited to receive this hitting net. Looks the same as those sold by other amazon retailers, plus it includes the secondary net. And at a price that was slightly better than the others. In hindsight, maybe it's priced lower for a reason.Got it all unboxed. No missing parts. But immediately noticed issues when putting it together. One of the base leg holes was deformed. Had to bend it in order for the mating piece to fit. Thought it'd be smooth sailing after that, but I was wrong. It seems pretty much every piece of tubing is bent. The funny thing is I think they're intentionally bent. But, they're not bent consistently, making certain pieces not line up right. For example the two legs are joined at the rear by a 3-ish foot tube with ball detents at both ends. Well, that rear tube was bent and twisted. Making it impossible to get both ball detents seated properly at the same time. Fortunately, I was still able to get it together, in spite of not being able to get the ball detents to engageThe net looks to be of decent construction. And, again, it is nice that it comes with the "sacrificial" net. But that doesn't excuse the poor construction and quality control. I just can't see how each of the pieces would have been bent in shipping. Odds are the accuracy and consistency at the factory just isn't very good. Still haven't decided if I'll try an exchange or just return it.One other thing to note. Even if you get a well constructed version, be careful with the fiberglass poles. Fiberglass splinters are no fun. And while some fiberglass is well constructed with an effective finish or sheathing/coating. These are neither. Best to be safe and wear some appropriate gloves. And if you're feeling really ambitious, maybe add your own sheathing with tape or something. If you have kids, I definitely wouldn't let them handle the fiberglass poles.I can't speak to strength or long term durability. Will update my review with those details if I end up keeping the net.

It's perfect!
Hubby loved it! He put it together pretty easy and it fit nicely in our garage.

Almost perfect
Wish there was more slack on the net so it would catch the balls and hold them in one spot. If you’re hitting a bunch, some will roll out. Could be user error because this is perfect
