This is a great little product. It is perfect for flat iron, curling iron, or hot brush. It fits nicely on your counter and does not take up much space. You can have more than 1 tool on it at a time. 2 is probably the limit for maximum protection. When you are done using it, the mat is not hot to the touch. This is great. You can store it away without worrying about it. It does a great job at protecting the surface of your counter top. It is flexible, and not rigid or hard. You can easily move or manipulate it, while tools are on it. I recommend this product!!

Perfect size for any hair straightener or curling iron! I feel comfortable leaving my straightener on this mat while it cools down before putting it away. I’ve had some eye shadow spill on it, and it didn’t wash off completely so my mat has a permit shimmery look to it but it’s still works as it is intended to do!

Liked this so much I bought a second one for travel. Thick and shape is good on counter. Can lay 3 hot tools on it.

I use this often and it does what it's supposed to do. It's wide enough to fit a few flat irons at the same time, it is heat resistant and it doesn't slide around so you won't find yourself having to reposition it. A wet paper towel is all it takes if you want to wipe it down but frankly, unless you use a lot of products on your appliances, you won't really need to do that very often. A solid product.

Mat works just fine for me, my curling wand isn't that heavy and it has a stand on the base and the tip so it doesn't necessarily sit directly on the mat. The box style on the under style probably helps the heat. Afterwards my carpet is warm but not alarmingly so. I was using a round kitchen heat mat that is used in the kitchen but it was too small. The size of this mat is perfect too. Can't really see the line design on it since it's black it all blends to me but I don't care about that.

It’s great and durable and I’m so happy I have it. Only 4 stars because everything sticks to it and it’s not easy to clean off. I would still recommend it though because the good far outweighs the annoying part haha.

I bought this to put my hair appliances and my scentsy warmer on so i wouldn’t damaged my dresser. It was a little smaller than I expected but I love it so far. I like that my blow dryer and straightener don’t slip off of it because of it’s non slip material ! Also it is a little floppy because of the material but it is thick. It was definitely a great buy for he price. Considering buying another one!

After badly burning our bathroom sink on two separate occasions with my curling wand, I realized something needed to change. I considered throwing it away before it caused further damage to my home, but I realized there was still a potential for my straightener or other curling irons to cause damage to my sink or counters, even if I didn't use the wand anymore. I looked up heat resistant mats here on Amazon and this was one of the first options that came up and had the best reviews. This mat really is incredible! I tested it the day I got it by using my curling wand at 400 degrees and resting it on the mat instead of the sink or directly on the counter. The mat still remains completely undamaged after it's run-in with my curling wand. I felt the counter underneath it when I was finished, and it was hardly even warm. I was a bit surprised at how small the mat is. I'm sure the dimensions listed are correct, but I hadn't paid attention to that when I bought it. The smallish size won't be a problem for me, as I never use more than one styling tool at a time anyway. If you plan to use a several irons at once, I would advise getting a second mat.
