I like the security of this case. It is easy to assemble and the tools were provided to remove/install the tiny screwed on the edges of the case. Spare screws were supplied. The screen protector provided fit but is not compatible with use of fingerprint access. Would be fine if fingerprint access isn't needed. I must use fingerprint access for work.

Looks metal but is a harder plastic. It's durability is good for the low price we paid. The stand on the back has held up very well on this one so that's a plus.

Purchased this case for my tmobile LG velvet fits great cutout for the back camera a little off but it doesn't appear to affect the camera..

This is generally a good case. It's built like a tank and I definitely feel secure about it protecting my phone. Also, it's pretty easy to install. The things I don't love ....1 - It's big and heavy but everyone already knows that going in since they state it in the description. So, that doesn't really bug me because it's a sacrifice I was willing to make for protection.2 - There is a little rubber flap that closes over the charging port, which is good, but it's not attached really well and fell off the first day. I can most likely just open the case and put it back on but it's still a bit of a hassle and I'm not really convinced that it will stay on for very long.3 - I like the protection added from the metal backing plate but there are rough edges. When I'm on my phone, using it with one hand I can feel the edges. It's a touch uncomfortable. Not a really big deal and not shocking considering the low cost of the case, but still, I would be willing to pay a bit more if it meant the edges were smoothed out more.4 - The case does fit on the Velvet 5G version, but like most of the cases that explicitly say that version isn't supported, the camera cutout is a bit off center. Also not a big deal since the camera isn't obstructed in any way, but worth mentioning.All in all, it's a great case and I am ok with the minor flaws if it keeps my phone from getting damaged. I usually keep it in my front pocket and so far I haven't had a case that keeps my phone from some degree of damage pretty quickly.

You cannot use a headphone jack with this case as the hole is not large enough unfortunately, due to not enough space between the two metal plates, which are screwed together. I plug my phone into my stereo all the time in order to play music. If you don't need that feature, then you may like this sturdy case.Quick removal of the phone from the case is not an option as the phone is screwed into the case, so it does take a few minutes, and it does come with an allan key. The weight of the case itself was not an issue at all as others have reported. I did not notice the extra weight whatsoever.the case is very smooth so beware of that as it does not prevent it from slipping much. I personally like more grit to my cases so that they don't slip out of my pocket when I'm driving.

this is one tough case. my glass top cover arrived cracked. but using it anyway with no problems the side buttons are stiff. probably will not soften with use due to the heavyweight materials. overall one tough cookie of a cell phone case.

I love the case, and although the camera does not line up (which is an issue that many people are having that should be addressed) that is not why I gave the thing two stars.First problem I had was the instructions. There were only four tiny pictures, none of which actually showed an LG Velvet phone and were somewhat confusing. They need to either add instructions with words or actually show the correct phone in the LG Velvet case instructions. That honestly was livable, but annoying, and it is not really why I gave it its rating.What broke the deal for me was the fact I had the screen protector for a little over a DAY before it was already cracked, and every hour the crack seems to have gotten larger (now cutting almost half way across the screen) This was unaccetable, I did not drop my phone, I didn't slam it down on its screen, I didnt do anything that would warrant such a crack in it. To make matters worse the screen protector doesnt actually fit the whole screen just around 98% percent.Barring it may have been caused by me when I assemble the thing (no thanks to the poor instructions I was given), this is extremely disappointing and made even worse its near 30 dollar price tag.If you take nothing else from this, all I will say is that this phone case has a myriad of issues along with the ones I mentioned and I urge its makers to refund myself and others who got it or replace it with a case that ACTUALLY fits our phones properly.

Update June 27 2021. Case is very good however my grandson dropped the phone and the screen protector came off, we were able to put it back on but will this happen again? Can the vendor please contact me and let me know if they can supply a new screen protector?Update 2. I contacted the vendor and they are sending me a replacement screen protector FREE. Great customer service and support as this was resolved in 2 days.Good value for money. This case is heavy but I am certain it will protect against almost anything. I got the blue and the pictures do not do it justice. It fits very well, the only thing is that it is not very good for wireless charging, sometimes it does not charge and you have to move it around for it to charge. The glass protector works and fits very well, in fact I had to turn the brightness down, the feel is very nice and sensitive. I hope this will last as long as I have this phone. I tried other cases and they did not last. This phone needs a case as it is very slippery. It is more expensive than other cases. Ihowever it is worth it. I recommend this case if you have the LG Velvet phone.

Well, it certainly adds bulk and weight but the description also says that it does so I was fully expecting that.The fit was perfect. Cut outs for the camera, ports, etc were bang on.I did think the screen protector was built in but I think I just misunderstood the description/pics so my fault.I really like how the inner soft case is sticking out all the way around the case giving grip and protection. It actually is soft and has some bounce to it. The portion on the back where the rubber sticks out gives anti-slip and grip.The upper and lower edges on the front of the case are raised so the screen isn't touching when put down. It is slippery though and I wish there was some of the rubber showing to prevent that as I prefer leaving my phone screen down.The charging port cover isn't attached (I wish it was). I guess some people don't want it covered? I haven't had it come out of the case yet but could see it happening if yanked on.Over all, it's certainly one of the toughest cases I've used and it looks pretty cool too. I really don't want to drop test it to find out how tough but I'm sure my fat breakfast sausage fingers will fail and I'll find out!Kinda wish you could mix and match the colours. I almost want to order the black so I can mix it up with the blue I have (it's a nice blue).

It looks pretty but it won't last.

My phone flew off 20' in the air of my motorcycle mount on the highway i was going 130km/h the phone dropped on the asphalt. The case is gone but the phone damn still strong. The front screen didn't crack at all. Only some scratches and the back screen have some cracks.You bet i'm gonna order a new one !! Jesus thanks to you guys !! You saved my phone !!! God bless you !!!

The screen protector cracked, the screws came out of the frame WITH the bolts. After one unlucky drop.I have had other cases that lasted for years
