This item does it's job, it's a tether ball system to help you hit a tennis ball, in case you don't have a wall or a partner to hit. The only reason why, I ranked this item lower, is that this is really a difficult item to rank. This might be good, for a beginner to go and smash balls, but for a beginner player that is just starting to get more serious about tennis and want to really work on hitting properly, this might not be the best item for you. First, the bungie cord on the ball will cause a very inconsistent and somewhat random bounce. Sometimes it'll cause the ball to kick and actually speed up throwing off your timing. If you're working on pure reaction then maybe this somewhat unexpected ball behavior can help you with reaction time. Second, you have to hit deep for the ball to bounce back properly. This is why I say it's good for a beginner that wants to just smash balls. Keep in mind that the harder you hit, the quicker the ball will come back due to the bungie cord rubberbanding the ball back at you. With that being said, if you already have a proper swing and you can understand and control your hits, you might be able to utilize this item a little more properly. I'm not a pro at tennis, but I feel like this item might actually encourage bad hitting habits more than help, but again, better than nothing (no wall, no partner). I stopped using this item, but maybe with time and wear on the bungie cord, I'm not sure if the rebound will be come softer and smoother.

This actually works!! Once you find the rhythm and how to hit the ball to make it rebound back to you (might have taken me 15 mins), it actually works like a trainer! I filled it with water and it stayed in place. I used it on our driveway. You need to have clearance on all sides so it doesn't get tangled into a tree or other object.

I usually don’t write bad reviews but this thing is a wasted of money. I was conned from the Robo reviews or must have been. No way this trash is 5 stars. Not good for indoor let alone outdoors. The return bounce is not consistent. I wish I returned this item before the 30 days. It’s not even a nice paper weight. My dogs just walks pass by it when I left it on the ground. Do yourself a favor and spend the money for a top spin pro

I bought this for my daughter, but I play with it more than her. It's a great workout. I break a sweat after 30 mins of playing. My record so far is 261 consecutive hits (had to stop because a car drove in front of me). I already broke the elastic band once where it connects to the ball, but with some pointy pliers I was back in business. Needless to say it's a super value for the price. UPDATE After 5 weeks of playing 30mins 2 to 3 times a week, I have to say Rest In Peace to my first tennis ball. Good thing it comes with another tennis ball with elastic! I already bought another set! For $16, I can't ask for a more durable product. Everything has it's limits, right? Once again, I rate it * * * * * 5 stars! 👏🏻

It’s very fun and enjoyable but the clip that you clip the rope to is hard to open so I just used a paper clip and the jug does move slightly and the grip on the bottom rips easily so try not to drag it but other wise it’s a great product
