Delivered to UK in 9 days. Good quality tent.
Haven't compared this one to Kodiak or Springbar as they are not available for delivery to UK, but I'm very happy with this tent. Delivered from USA in 9 days. Good quality tent.

Initial setup for wet seasoning of the canvas went without a hitch, which is a necessary step for the waterproofing of canvas tents. This is a quite heavy tent, as evidenced by the canvas material and steel poles. The box it comes in is definitely a team lift but individual parts can be managed by one, with the tent canvas itself being the heaviest. Stakes and poles are steel and very robust. A very close inspection revealed no concerns about quality and apparent durability. Stitching was perfect and very few remnants of scrap thread pieces from the manufacturing process were found. Setup by one person can easily be done but with two it would go much faster. All zippers worked fine but the doors are a little snug which I imagine will smooth out a little with use over time. The floor is thick and rubberized and appears very durable even without using a footprint underneath. This is definitely a car camping tent as it would be very cumbersome and difficult to carry into an area for remote camping due to its weight. This was purchased for hunting and fishing in an area we can easily drive to with ATV's and I have no concerns at all about its long term performance at this point. We will have 2 adults with cots and quite a bit of gear, and it appears there will still be plenty of room potentially for a third cot, maybe a chair or two. With proper care and maintenance, I can see this lasting for years to come. Users of these type tents must be very mindful never to pack them away with any indications of moisture being present due to mold issues these tents can experience, unlike nylon or polyester tents. Always pack and store them completely dry.

We live in Colorado and my wife has had this urge to do some snow camping. We tried once last year in our summer mesh tent and about froze to death, so we knew if we were going to do this ever again we would need a thicker canvas tent that would hold heat and protect us from the elements a little better. We chose a Teton tent because we own four of their sleeping bags which are the best sleeping bags I have ever owned, so I knew the quality would be there. I also know from past dealings that their customer service is top notch so if there was an issue with the tent we would have no issues getting them resolved. This tent has many pros, lets focus on those first. This is exactly what we were looking for in a thicker warmer tent. When our heater was actively running, this tent stayed warm. It didnt hold the heat too long after the heater was off, but it definitely stayed warm when it was on rather than escaping through the walls. So that was a definite plus. The tent amazed me at how easy it was to assemble. I read the instructions once before we went camping, and was able to assemble strictly by memory. It was so so simple. Literally like 3 poles and we were done. This tent is nice and tall, I can fully stand up inside of it without touching the ceiling. I have never had a tent where I could do that. The doors on both sides was a plus for those midnight potty runs. We experienced some crazy wind during this trip and our tent was solid and barely moved. As you can see in the pics we were in snow and no moisture got inside the tent. The floor is a very thick very strong material. The temp dropped down to 12 degrees in these pictures and we were never really uncomfortable, I call that a success. Now for a couple negatives just to be honest and transparent. This tent is heavy, like really heavy. If my wife were to go camping without me, she wouldnt be able to get it out of the car. But the heaviness is due to its quality and ability to withstand the elements, so I kind of get it. I dont mind that its heavy, but caution to any small adult who may be looking into purchasing this. The only other negative is despite it being rated for 6 people, with our four army cot beds we had little no room for anything else. So sure it will fit 6 uncomfortably laying on top of each other, or four more realistically with some wiggle room and comfort. Thats about it. As far as amazon is concerned this is a 5 star tent in my opinion. If I could rate like 9.5 out of 10 I would just for the couple negatives though. Overall this tent is amazing, well worth the money, and I can not wait to use it for years to come. Which I know I will be able to because it seems so well made and sturdy.

I've used this tent a few times this season for hunting and golfing (camped out at bethpage) and I'm very impressed with the quality. Of note, I camped out in the field under significant wind gusts and the tent didn't budge at all. I like that the floor is thick and is meant to withstand foot traffic and equipment. Size: i dont really understand how people rate tents for size, but here is my experience with the 10x14. It is perfect, ideal, and spacious for 2 adults: cots, hunting gear, a cooler, a GSP hunting dog, and a propane 12k btu heater. honestly if you camp exclusively as 2 people, the 10x10 would be sufficient. however, in my 10x14, a 3rd adult w/gear would fit fine, and 4th would start to get tight (probably my limit barring an unusual situation/emergency). My preference though is if I'm taking the time to set up a large tent over a smaller backpacking tent, I want to have space and more comforts. If you are a family of 4-6, this tent would be for you. Weight: The total package is 80 lbs, but it breaks down into tent (~45 pounds in a nice carry sack), poles, and stakes. One person can load it into the truck/car in 2 trips easy. Setup: Very simple set-up, probably takes 5 minutes. Even less if you have help. Breakdown is even faster. If you are going to camp out, do it right. Shelter is not the place to skimp, or else you may wake up at 2 am watching your tent fly away in wind gust and spend an hour in the pitch dark trying to wrangle it in.... Teton Mesa is great and worth the extra money. I would buy it again and I recommend it.

I've been camping for over 35 years. I've had my share of tents, both good and bad, but this is something I should have bought YEARS AGO! I just got this Teton Mesa 10 today (5/4/21) and took it out in the yard and set it up almost immediately after it was delivered. I read the instructions, and by myself for the 1st time it only took me about 12 minutes. It was simple and easy to do. It's roomy and the gear lofts are great. It's overcast and rain is forecasted, so I'm going to leave it up overnight and see how it goes. But so far I'm impressed. Just a note in case anyone is wondering, this thing weighs about 70 pounds (total with the poles), so it's heavy (Of course it is, it's canvas). But I go car camping so it's not a huge issue for me, I can lift it into/out of my truck easy enough. Edit: It rained steady for about a day and half after initial set up. Came out and checked and dry! I'll add to this after my 1st trip out next w/end (5/14.) Edit: 6/15/21: I've had this out on 2 trips since I got it. No issues at all. Rained for one night on 1 trip, and no water! Two notes: 1) On taking it down, make sure to remove the poles first then the stakes, otherwise the tent collapses on you (Dumb move on my part). 2) Get a ground tarp or cover! It's much easier than having to clean off the bottom while rolling it up afterwards. Only thing I don't like is there's no side windows. Other than that, I love this tent! Well worth the $$. Can't go wrong.

Bought this tent as my "forever" tent after months of research and financial planning. I absolutely love this thing. I'm only 5'2" and while it didn't go straight up like my other instant tents (obviously, just what I'm used to) it really wasn't too bad to put up or take down myself. Seasoning it I think was the hardest part because it's definitely waterproofed but after about 30 or so minutes I finally got water to soak in. My intention was to set it up for a day, season it the next, then let it dry for another day just to be sure then pack it up, but it ended up raining on and off after the initial soak for about a week so it stayed up in my backyard the entire time. I checked on it daily and even in the heavier rains it didn't leak a single drop. It was very sturdy in the gusts of wind we were having. My only bugaboo about this tent is the center bar rests on top of the canvas roof rather than "float" above it, but it's possible that's something on my end.
