These were my first attempt at using this type of nail product. There is some learning to it but not to hard otherwise.

I love this. I did one coat and let it dry for about 3-4 minutes the added another and then then I let the step two activator set 10 minutes. Will be buying again 😃

I was sick of the nail techs at the salon cutting me with files or the drill, so I tried this product.It’s not terribly hard to use but does take practice.I tried the glitter first and it was more forgiving. It still looked good even with a few lumps and bumps that I didn’t do a good job filing. I had to do a much better job filing the solid color.I am still having issues keeping the glue and color off my cuticles, but think I will get better with practice.My nails looked really good for 2.5 weeks until I decided to remove and try a new color.I will buy again!

I am a beginner at doing my nails, but when it comes to doing your nails using dip powder, the hardest part is all the filing and shaping! The presentation of the items was nice, there was a specific place for every product and nothing is just squished into the box. Everything is in order when it comes to wondering which liquid to use when. The colors of the powders are all so very pretty. The instructions included are very clear and concise. My nails looked so pretty after doing them. I tried doing them just on my normal nails and then trying to do it with tips added. Both honestly only lasted three to four days. I did not go hard on my nails because I was unsure how easily they could break. I legit did my nails six different times before leaving a review. When it comes to doing the nails, I find it easier to do with a nail drill for filing rather than using a nail file. The nail file that is included in the kit is crappy. It took a lot longer using a nail file (obviously). The products to polish your nails really do dry quickly. I tested with no UV light and using a UV light, there is no difference. The nails started chipping after three to four days and no I did not do anything out of the ordinary that would ruin my nails. I really wanted it to last at least seven days without having to do touch ups or fills, but unfortunately that was not the case. At least it didn't hurt really badly when my nail broke (each time), but I guess that goes to show that the hold on the nail really doesn't last as long as you would expect. I recommend that if it is just to make your nail pretty for a few days, yes, the effort is definitely worth it. If you are trying to have it last for more than a week, good luck!!

I really like this product. It stays on well for a good week. It is a process to get off, but I'm happy with the product.

Gives strength to my nails

I gave this 2 stars for beginners because of the terrible base and activator. If I was a beginner I would have thrown it all away. Luckily I had other base coats and activators to use to make the powders work.I love the dip powders, they are true to color with no white flecks. What I hate about this set is the base coat and activator. The powder would not harden no matter how long I waited. I suggest getting this set just for the colors and top coat. Throw the activator and base coat way.

It seems easy but it’s not a beginner thing.1st time using this for me. The brush dries out,the top coat is not even.Top coat dries UNEVEN and not nice. I won’t repurchase.Disappointed … sorry.

Much like everyone else , lockdown prevented me from getting my nails done !I saw online people using poly gel nail kits but also read that they were hard to use. I instead went for these based on reviews on here.The colour range is okay, they’re not much different from each other so it would have been nice to have slightly varied colours to choose from in the kit.The kit comes with a nail file and nail wipes which were great. I now use these in between getting my nails done now as they help keep dust and dirt off of them.I have quite a steady hand and yet found this a little challenging. It seems straight forward that you pop on the nail polish on your finger then dip your nail into the powder for a flawless finish but I instead was left with an odd looking lump on it instead.I will persevere but for now leave this as three stars as it’s not the easiest kit to use. I’d probably go for the poly gel nail kit instead as the powder is a little bit messy. Also I found my nails ached quite a bit afterwards too

Really easy to use. I overlayed my natural nail but it would be as easy to use on tipped nails. However, if using with tips make sure the bond is flush with the nail or you will get a ridge. This is due to the powder being extremely fine. Good product easy and fast. I would recommend you only do 2 coats otherwise it will take an age to set. 2 coats the set is instant.

So I've recently become alergic to all gel polishes, and was recommended using this.And I'm really happy withbit and will definitely buy more. On first use i found it not so easy to use, but after a few nails I was well on my way. And practice makes perfect as they say. Definitely recommend to those who suffer with gel polish allergies. To remove is pretty easy. Gently file top layer and soak as normal and comes off easier than gel. Wearability is fab, its slightly harder than a gel. And feels great on. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

I’ve used several dip powder kits before and this one is absolutely awful.. by far the worst! I’m not sure if the products are out of date but they physically don’t work - the base coat doesn’t dry to allow the powder to be dusted off and the activator doesn’t set the powder to allow you to file and buff. Disappointed is an understatement. I would like a full refund or a replacement item with working products.Seller contact me please.

This was a simple process, by finger two I was on a roll. I did a finger at a time to make sure I was careful with the powder and the bottles . Only slight negative was that the activator did seem to have less in it compared to the other two bottles? The powder will last a fair amount of time. The bottle will need replaced soon. Great value thought, to get the range of products and variety of powders. I love the colours too. Started with the one I liked the least and I still think it's really pretty so really pleased with this set.
