I purchased this oil after attempting to lighten the finish on a wooden cross by sanding and using paint remover. I wanted to return the piece to a glossy finish. Hope’s 100% Pure Tung Oil was thick and easy to apply with a microfiber cloth. It has no odor, so I was able to pull on rubber gloves and work on this indoors. It dried overnight, so there were no days or weeks of waiting to add more coats. Three coats did a beautiful job. I’m giving it plenty of time to dry completely before deciding whether I need to add wax or clear coat to protect the shine.

We use this for our barn wood mantle on our outdoor fireplace. It brightens it up SO much! It was looking a little dry and old, so we did a google search and heard this was the stuff. After applying it (which was quick and easy), it looked like a totally different mantle. So beautiful! Great quality and works amazingly!

I like this oil more than I like the one I bought from Home Depot for my butcher block countertops. It's nice and thick and makes my countertops look great and protects them from scratches and stains from food and drinks. It's pretty sticky if you get on your hands but it washes right off with soap and water in the sink. The bottle is Big I've used it several times on every countertop in my kitchen and there's still plenty left making it a great value.

When my father passed away, I inherited two of his guns. They hadn't been cared for very well for sometime, and I wasn't sure it the wood could be to restored and treated as it warranted. I followed the directions to the letter, respecting the power of this product and was rewarded with a luster, vitality, and sheen of the natural wood on the firearms to that have brought compliments from everyone that I have shown them to. This is a serious product that responds wonderfully with the requisite level of respect and following the directions as clearly defined. A wonderful product that does as it says.

Worked great. Front door was all bleached out , I used the oil and it looks brand new. Only one coat I will do a second coat next week

Great. Apply outside, looks real good on wood. A little goes a long way.

Very easy to use, I applied it with a brush and then used a rag to remove the excess oil and it dried up perfectly, there is a smell that comes with the oil but it went away after maybe 24 hours of being left out to dry I only did 1 coat cause I didn’t really had time to wait and it still looks and works great as far as sealing the stained wood Great value for the amount of product you get and so easy to apply

Works as stated. Easy to apply. Finish is beautiful. Makes even on very old wood look new. You do need to allow the recommended time between applications and to cure. But well worth the effort.
