Please note the two photos. One on left is from same UA Men's Tech Medium purchased 3-4 years ago and worn frequently in Fall/Winter. Pictured right is the one I just purchased for $40 on Amazon and received today. It was of significant poorer quality than the same product purchased years ago. This is unfortunately consistent with several other reviewers of this product. This will be the last UA product I purchase as their quality has turned for the worse. Do better.

UA quality has really gone downhill. These are downright see through. The shirt is NOT being backlit in my photo, that's just regular lighting. If this was women's wear, it would be a scandal bigger than the Lululemon fiasco, because these shirts are far more see-through than those pants.Another reviewer said his chest hair could poke through; I thought that was an exaggeration but it isn't.

DO NOT buy this if you're looking for something warmer to wear for the Fall season. The reviews that others have left about this regarding the material being paper-thin, are 100% accurate. I was hoping that I would somehow run into a different case, but when mine arrived (ordered the white/light grey) and I put it on, it was nearly see-thru. I bought this for a lightweight long-sleeve "warmer" that I could wear golfing in this cooler Fall weather, and there is NOTHING about this zip-up that's warm. At all.So why did I rate this 4 stars?? Well, because it's still a great mens' top and if it were spring, this would be perfect. It wouldn't make sense to knock this down just because I chose the wrong style of clothing for the season. The material though, esp by comparison to my Nike runner, is very thin though. So to that end, it really does feel like they cut some corners in the fabric department (HA! see what I did there) to on material costs and probably shipping too, but still charge a premium. For that, I knock those profit-hungry yuckamucks down for sacrificing quality for quality.

Thin, thin, THIN!!!For the "premium" price you pay for ANY of the UA clothing line, you would THINK you'd be getting a "premium" piece of clothing. That's NOT the case w/ this 1/4 Zip top. I found it to be VERY thin & NON-substantial. I bought this for my Son for Christmas BUT didn't even bother wrapping it once I took it out of the AMZ box & its plastic bag, and felt how truly lightweight & thin it was. (He's a huge UA fan & I didn't want to insult him w/ such a poorly made (fabrication, weight, & "hand") garment.) Sorry AMZ, UA, & Merchant...I'm returning it. :(

I should have read the reviews, but I am a long time customer of UA so I trusted that I did not need to read the reviews. I can't describe my disappointment when I opened my package and saw this long sleeve shirt that is literally see through. I can't understand how there are so many five star reviews for this shirt. This shirt is no where near the quality of any of my other UA clothing. I have lost my confidence with UA and will be returning this item.

I would classify the cut as classic, certainly not loose, but not fitted either. I carry most of my weight in the mid section, non-muscular. My normal size does fit, but it's not a roomy as the same type of athletic wear from other brands. Comparing it to some other athletic quarter zips I own, I would say the Under Armour brand is about 2 inches narrower.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. It looked great on him, but the material is a little thin than I would have expected. Not sure if a tank would be better to wear under it. Otherwise you can see through it when holding it up. Would be happy to pay more for better material.

My husband has one of these from a couple years back, it was gray. I got him the dark green half zip and when it came I felt like it was a lot thinner and not as well made. Still he wears it and uses it for warmer days or during the summer. I would say this one is probably best for spring and summer months.

Bought as a gift for my 22 year okd has it all Son for his birthday. He loved it and said it was ideal as was nice fit and lightweight material lovely material great colour washes well. So pleased as he really is fussy and quiet particular about what he wears. Well recommend and really quite cheap compared to high steer shops similar if not the same product

38 chest, 34 waist, got a small and it's "tight" around the arms (13") but fine with stretch, and a little loose around the belly. So a good fit for movement then. Wear it three times a week for morning runs on its own (temps about 10-18° at the moment) and while it can be chilly at first, once I've got a sweat on I'm comfortable.Saw some moaning that it was thin... Well, yeah. I don't really want a fleece weighing me down while I'm running up a hill. It's a mid layer for exercise. It's what it should be. Wicks sweat well enough. Won't be much help in a storm.Seems to be holding up fine after 3 wks with wash/dryer cycles. I'm happy with it.

This is another excellent product from Under Armour. I’m 185cm, 80kg and medium fits perfectly. Not a close fit but not baggy either. In other words, just right. I’ve worn it over a t shirt and it’s an ideal level of extra warmth when a fleece would be too much but you want a little something else on. The grey looks great too. Overall, very pleased and would recommend.

After 2 returns of this product due to a being sent the heathered grey instead of black (description error on the suppliers part) this time I recieved the black one and im really happy with it. Looks great, very light fit, I bought this after having an AU sports tshirt made with the same light material, had it for years. I know they last forever and you are absolutely getting your moneys worth because the quality lasts, doesn't bobble or lose colour after years of washing. Happy customer.

Really disappointed with this top, it's much thinner and lighter than I was expecting which was such a shame. The top was literally see through if held up against a light source. Even more annoying though was the fit - it was too tight in the cuffs, too baggy on the arms and too short in the body! Expected better from a brand such as this and returned for a refund.
