Blade is easily opened with one hand, left or right, by using the thumb knob and held in place with the the liner lock. In addition, the blade has not been hardened by the usual heat treating process, but has been hardened by the Cryohardening process of subjecting the blade to extreme coldness. This process allows the knife to hold the extremely sharp edge much longer. The reverse side of the knife has a belt clip as shown for easy of carrying. The sides of the knife are Carbon Fiber with Gray Aircraft Grade Aluminum scales which add a beautiful tactical contrast.
