This has a strong chemical smell to it when you open it, the brushes I got from the same brand also smell like chemicals and paint fumes really strongly. Silicone should not smell like that, my only guess is that the sponge inside it is made out of some cheap gross smelling material or they sprayed it with something that smells strongly of chemicals. I don't want something that is going on my face or for cleaning the brushes that are going on my face to have harmful chemicals or a chemical smell so think I will be returning this product rather than trying to get rid of the smell. It sucks that it and the brushes smell like chemicals because it looks cute and I think it would have been useful for cleaning my makeup brushes.

This product does exactly what it promises to do. The "dry cleaning" side works very well at removing all powder off my brushes. The picture shows where I brushed with a dark shadow and below that is after I cleaned the brush in the dry side. It took all of the dark powder off the brush.

I love this because it's not a big mat but fits nicely in your hands. It's convenient and does the job. Plus it's really cute!

Its nothing like the video shows. Its a waist of time.

I hate cleaning my makeup brushes. I mean, who doesn't, right? This tool makes cleaning and drying brushes super easy, though.For me, the hardest brush to clean is my foundation brush. It's big and dense and just seems to take forever to get clean. The scrapy side of this cleaning tray really helped to separate the bristles and get all the gunk out much faster than normal. And I like that it doubles as a drying tray, as well.I have several brushes that are double-sided, which means I can't clean them with my motorized brush cleaner gizmo. So I have to do them by hand. The first time I cleaned them with this, I was surprised at how much faster and easier it was than just using my fingers.I'm really happy to have this brush cleaner in my makeup tool box! Recommended.

To be honest, I wasn't entirely certain how this is used. I use brushes for painting, and some crafts, but never used anything like this to clean them. When I showed it to the significant other, she knew right away. After the photos for the review, she took it away. After a while she called me to her makeup space. She demonstrated how the raised textures loosened and removed leftover makeup from the brushes. I asked about the foam sponge inside, she said if you have a creamy or liquid on the brush, you can wipe it onto the sponge to clean it. It's really useful if you're doing shades of the same color, and just need to remove excess and blend in the shades. Ok, who'd thought such a seemingly simple silicone case with raised symbols and bristles could do so much. She thought it was very nice, but that I should have gotten it in pink or peach, not the dark gray cement color. haha. I got it thinking I could use it to clean my craft brushes; So, I got it in a color that I felt comfortable. Despite my egregious color selection, she's keeping it for her own uses.So, the product delivers on the claims, and matches the descriptions and depictions in the product details. I am surprised at the vast utility of the product. Clearly, it easily meets expectations of someone that knows the purspose and function. Accordingly, it earns a 4.75 star rating, with a very high level recommendation.

This is a great two for one. On one side you get a brush cleaner that allows you to clean your brush dry when you are applying makeup and want to clean the brush you are using in-between colors so you can use the same brush but with a different color. You don’t want color still on the brush when you go into the next color so you use the black porous material to get rid of the leftover color on the brush.Periodically you need to clean your brushes to make sure they are nice and clean. So you use the colored, silicon part of the cleaner. You can now use water and soap to clean the brushes on the silicone part and really clean the brushes very well. This works really well and easy and is so much better than just using your fingers or the dirty sink for example. This is great and works well, best set to get really. All in all I am very happy that I found this since it really solves the problem of cleaning your brushes.

I am a huge make up junkie and I’m always looking for different easy ways to clean my brushes. I have used so many different brush cleaners as well as brush surfaces. So far nothing compares to this one. I like the fact that the material is a silicon grade material. The other side of this cleaner is a sponge which has carbon in it. This side is great for a clean brushes in between uses without needing to wash them. I like the fact that I can also clean the silicone side easily after use with foundations and thick powders. The silicone part itself has many different surfaces and patterns which allows cleaning of different types of brushes. I like using this type of device to clean up brushes and totally recommend other people to use it too. I am able to clean my brushes a lot faster now than before which is a huge plus for me.

It's ok. The sponge is more impressive then the rubber part.Easy to use the same brush if you want to change the colour for your eyeshadow.The rubber part I feel like it's good for the short hair brushed rather then the long hair brushes.

Consegna puntuale come sempre. L'ho testato subito e sono molto soddisfatta. In pochi minuti ho pulito tutti i miei pennelli senza sforzo e c9n ottimi risultati. La spugnetta permette di pulire un pennello se si è di fretta, ma funziona bene solo con i colori chiari e non certo con il nero ma questo me lo aspettavo. Consigliato.

I used this with a dedicated brush shampoo and was both horrified and thrilled with the amount of gunk that game out of my brushes despite hand washing them prior. Fits easily in the palm of my hand and didn't damage any of my brushes.

Bought with Jessup brushes and works really well to get the colour out of eyeshadow brushes so they can be reused without transferring the previous colour.

The black mesh is used to loosen make up product off brushes and works surprisingly well.The patterned lid is perfect for washing residual makeup left in brushes. It’s compact, easy to use and affordable!
