This microscope had decent reviews so I got it for my daughter as a birthday gift. My mother bought her a set of slides to go with it. The lens did take quite a bit of adjusting to focus on each slide to see it properly. Other than that it is a good beginner microscope.

My daughter received this as a Christmas present and she LOVES it! She is 12 and has enjoyed looking at pre-made slides as well as searching for things to examine. Seems to be good quality and gives very clear images.

My daughter absolutely loves this! We have looked at blood, ear wax, a booger, and a sliver!!! We have also looked at hair!!! Awesome product!
