I tested one of these against English Bulldogs (VERY tough on toys!) and was so impressed in their durability that I bought 3 more.'Nuff said.

This is the one we ordered, but we received the purple and blue dog. Luckily, our dog doesn't know the difference and he likes it.

Started purchasing this product over 11 years ago. Our first Entlebucher destroyed the head and removed the squeaker.That roadkill kitty lasted until her 14th birthday and then went on to our second Entlebucher.He's trying to shred what remains of the head.On to the replacement , which was the flat dog. Thinner material than the original and the head and squeaker were destroyed in less than 3 days.Still the dogs favorite toys as they chew and pull on them.Not sure if the new cat version that they show but never seem to deliver. I can understand why as it was a popular pattern back in the day.If you don't mind having it gutted, it still makes a fairly decent tug toy.

A great tug toy, I've had serveral.Cooper always manages to get the squeaker out but the rest of the toy stays in tack.

I was hoping that this would last a bit longer, but my dogs like immediately destroying any new toy. I wasn't entirely surprised when they tore through this with ease. The positives are that there isn't a lot of fluff to clean up AND my dogs are still playing with the fluff-less corpse. The fabric as a whole is durable enough that they use it for tug of war.

I ordered this item and received the yellow and green cat version. I had expected another version but it didn't really matter to me. Still, I pulled this out of the box and thought what can my little 35-lb. pit bull mix girl find to entertain her in this straight-forward "toy." It looked boring. The small head is stuffed and has a very small squeaky in it. The long body is flat, made of canvas-like fabric. Well, it took her a few days to take to it, but then she started having a blast throwing it up in the air way over her head and then trying to catch it on the fall. I couldn't believe how high she's able to fling it. She likes to carry it around swinging from her mouth and then chew on it. It's been buried more than once too. After all this, it still looks pretty darn good. It really is one tough toy and worth the reasonable price. I've had to "bury" 2 of her other toys in the garbage since getting this one but I expect it to be around for a long time.

My dog is a really aggressive chewer and has destroyed other "aggressive chewer" toys in a few hours. She got the head of this thing off pretty quickly, but that's the only part that has stuffing so it wasn't a bad clean up and the rest of the toy is still remarkably intact after several weeks of her playing and chewing and such.

I love this brand! I wish they made more products and were easy to find in the stores...There is no stretch to the product so that part of the review doesn't apply. But the material holds up well and the stitching lasts. My dogs destroy typical stuffed dog toys in 30 seconds, so I always love to buy this brand because it is durable and lasts.

The head, arms and tail have stuffing in them and the head has a squeaker in it. The body is unstuffed. It is a strong and very robust toy measuring about 14 inches/35cm from head to toe. These Fat Cat toys last and wash very well and are the best I have found. Other material toys have been chewed and destroyed by my dog in next to no time and he also chews rubber toys and destroys the squeaker within a day! These Fat Cat toys have lasted for about 2 years and quite frankly that's only because of the wash and wear they have had.

This toy is allegedly strong enough to withstand half a ton of pulling? Well, then I suppose my 18 lb toy Australian Shepherd is in possession of super human (or rather dog) strength. This toy didn't survive one day before it was ripped while we were playing 'tug of war'.It is a cheap piece of colorful canvas with arms and legs and a squeaker in the head. The head was quickly punctured spewing out stuffing so I surgically repaired it by cutting it off. The decapitated toy's body easily ripped so I ended up just letting my puppy go to town on it and shred it which he did in mere minutes.This toy is not something I would recommend to a friend or anyone unless they enjoy spending money on garbage toys that will inevitably wreck.

Had to take stuffing and squeaker out... dog ripped through in less that 10 min...but the rest seems to be holding up ok

Seems well made, sort of canvas like material. But my dogs don't seem to like it for some reason.
