Welp.After a year and a half this grease is separating. The white lithium is now coming out as brown runny oil...My dad had a tube from the late 70's for his fishing equipment and it was white and grease until 2022.I got ... inferior goop.I would skip it.

I've used Lubriplate white grease for over 35 years. I'm a retired machinist, toolmaker, tool & die maker & shop supervisor with 46 years under my belt before retiring. There are many multipurpose lubricants available, but for me, it is the best I've ever used for my many varied needs. A small dab is sufficient to last a long time for most applications, especially for small to medium sized mechanical devices. It's never let me down as long as my expectations are in-line with it's intended purpose.

This was recommended by the fellow who repaired our garage door. He said that in his many years experience, this was the best to use for the chain. I like that it comes in a small size - because a little goes a long way.

I use on all kinds of things around the house like garage door wheels, microwave oven rollers on rotating glass, door hinges. Better and longer lasting than oil products like 3 in 1 or WD 40.
