Best clam cake mix in world... but stopped by mill (an hour away) to buy and was closed mid-day. Costs as much to ship as to buy. bought it anyway.

This is the stuff right here! The real deal for real Rhode Island clam cakes. This takes me back to the days when my family would go to the Rustic Drive Inn in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and the kids would play in the playground in front of the screen until it got dark, then we'd go to the snack bar and get a dozen clam cakes along with popcorn and drinks. Or down in Galilee by the docks. If you're from Rhode Island, you know clam cakes and this is the ultimate for the exquisite Rhode Island experience!

This was my standard mix for clam cakes for years, but I had not used it for a while and was not aware that they had changed the mix.The clam cakes did not taste anything like they used to, the mix produced heavy balls of dough that were not light or soft and tender at all. I am really disappointed. I was careful to follow package directions too.I won't use it again. Sorry Kenyon; you can do better.

Have been using this mix for clam cakes for many years and it is always delicious!!! Super easy to make as well and stays fresh for quite a while if refrigerated ! Highly recommend!
