High utility with some caveats
I needed some extra shelving for my plant nutrients in a temporary space. I bought a small magnetic panel and these shelves. I’ve been using it over the slop sink for a while now. (Photo#1) The overall construction while rudimentary is quite good. All of the parts that make contact with the metal are properly coated to prevent scratching. The metal is thick and rigid and the paint should stand up well to scratches. Overall they should last a long time. When I needed more shelving, I picked up another set since the previous set had been working so well. The sheet in the 3rd photo was my intended surface. The problem is, it didn’t work. Grrrr that panel was expensive. I knew that the only difference between the smaller panel and the bigger white panel was the thickness. The large white panel is half as thick @ .75mm. I took a shot on my hunch and purchased a piece of 1.5mm unfinished steel. Same thickness as the little panel in photo#1 (I couldn’t find a large finished panel, but I did save $40 over the white one. I’ll finish it myself). As I suspected the thicker sheet made an immediate difference. Previously the shelves didn’t even support themselves, let alone 3- 1L bottles. That’s just shy of 6 Lbs. I’m pretty sure that’s about max at least for this setup I have. It would be nice if the magnets were stronger. Maybe they could be modified, but it would be hard to do since most high quality neodymium magnets you find will not be coated and you’d have to find magnets that are the correct thickness also. I would say, make sure you start with a good quality, thick steel surface. They also stick remarkably well to the steel pegboard I’m installing in my worship, but that is also made of steel that’s probably at least 1.25mm. For me the shelves filled their purpose, offering me some flexibility and reliability in this temporary setup. I like them and the overall setup allot and see that it’ll be easy to repurpose them in my workshop when it’s finished.

Nice, handy trays.
The magnets holding the trays are not strong enough to put too many items in the trays. But they ar well built, its just that the magnets are a little weak.

NICE EXTRA STORAGE DEVICE
These are nice items to add to any toolbox. Just place them anywhere you prefer to either temporary or permanently-your choice. They attach to any surface that is metal such as my furnace/refrigerator/garage overhead door to hold a few tools or the side of my S10 chevy pu /Toyota SUV, but not my 2014 corvette as it is not metal!! They have a beautiful paint job also.

My set so far is decent,, the small one is pretty weak but the others are good. I use em at work as a maitanance millwright in auto parts. I used the medium large size and it held my milwaukee m12, 2 small rails of 1/4 sockets, a ratchet, a 12 inch adjustable and a few bolts. I might add some more magnets for extra hold but they preformed well enough for coworkers to ask which brand of mag shelf I got so ide say they are good for most needs.

I purchased a full set and work well as expected. Even the smallest one can hold a 1L water bottle securely.

I had to write a review about this product because I am so upset with the quality of it. I paid what they asked but I didn't get what I paid for. I'll start by saying I wish I had taken photos of all the defects of the trays unfortunately I lost my phone. That's another story!! Firstly, upon unboxing one tray was bent at the corner where there was a hole drilled and why are there holes drilled only on the one side. If it was meant to be hung with screws as well why wasn't a hole drilled on the other side??? That said I did find the magnets were a little weak. Putting the pieces together the shelves where not level meaning they were not 90 degrees with the backing plates. You would think the rubber at the bottom would be the same length as the backing plate but it is a lot longer then needed. Perhaps it was intended that way. I Don't know?? Most of the trays had blemishes and rough spots but they still painted them. Some spot were so high my spray cans don't sit flat on the tray. The only good thing was the plastic bags that they came in. They were probably 4-5mil thick. Not happy with this company so I will write their name down in my stop purchase list. As for the trays I will salvage what I can. To bad one is the lowest rating I can give.

Great little shelves but the magnets aren't close to strong enough so even the most basic things (spray paint cans, hammer, ect.) make it slide. I've modified the heck out mine with more magnets to make them work but you shouldn't be forced to do this
