I was skeptical when it came to purchasing a different brand charger for my MacBook Pro, but I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by this charger. I have had no issues with it whatsoever, and it works perfectly, just as well as the Apple brand charger that came with my MacBook. I noticed sparks and a “crackling” sound coming from my Apple brand charger a few months after I received it (I bought a refurbished MacBook Pro and it came with an Apple brand charger). Eventually, the charger stopped working altogether. I am a full time student, and I desperately needed a new charger for my laptop, but I didn’t have a ton of money to spend on a new one. This charger was a life saver for me, I am so happy that I was able to replace my charger for a reasonable price.

Beware. They include a gift card with the package if you put a good review and that's why probably it has acceptable reviews> But it said it was suitable for my mac and it burned my port!! UPDATE : I was able to fix the port issue, it was not fully burnt, but had shutdown due to this charger. DON'T BUY IT. IT WON'T WORK ON YOUR MACBOOK AIR 2020. and DON'T FILE A GOOD REVIEW FOR MONEY! Even if it worked for you, consider what I'm saying, it almost kills one of my ports with just one day or usage.

Update: ***Warning! ****Charger destroyed the battery of my Mac Book and Iphone. ****It weighs about 4 oz less than the look alike charger that comes directly from Apple. Unlike my original charger it gets very hot.

Originally, when I decided to get a spare, I dreaded it thinking that it would not work if it weren’t identical to my original charger. I was hesitant at looking at the less expensive chargers, and spending a few pennies to work on my every expensive Mac was not even an option for me, but the YIESERRA 61W charger power adapter for my Mac pro 15” worked perfectly.This Power Adapter is a perfect replacement for the original or as a back-up power charger. It has a very long cable and goes a long way.After doing some research with other vendors I preferred to buy this product from this vendor YIESERRA and it arrived in one day with my Prime Membership, and it was less expensive than other vendors. Had this charger for only a couple of months and it's already broken! No information on how to contact the seller, only saying "Please contact the seller directly for warranty information for this product. You may also be able to find warranty information on the manufacturer’s website." You're better off buying a better one for a couple extra bucks.

I bought this originally for my Dell 7540 Mobile Workstation to leave in my backpack in case i needed it at school. As it turns out the laptop needs 90w minimum to charge.I then offered the charger to family who has a 2017 Macbook Pro and a 2020 Macbook Air.The Mac Pro worked right out of the box no problem.The Mac Air required a different USBC to USBC cable to work (probably an Apple proprietary thing)In summary7/10 compatibility10/10 weight and size10/10 price to performanceI would recommend this to any of my friends who need a spare charger for their light laptop.

Ordered this as an extra to keep in my backpack since it was becoming a bit of a hassle to keep unplugging it from my desk each time. The price is much lower than the Apple equivalent and as far as functionality, it seems to work just the same. I haven't noticed any issues yet, but will update this if there are any that come up. You can tell the wire and material is a little stiffer and has a slightly different feel than the Apple version, but it doesn't seem to affect the functionality at all.

I just received this adapter/charger in the mail and I needed a charger to replace my old apple one for my MacBook Pro 13Inch (A1708) laptop. It's working great so far, I don't have any complaints. I'll come back with a further review once i've used it for more than a day to see how long it will last.
