Great product and customer service
The struts work perfectly (very high quality), and when I had a problem, the customer service was amazing. Fantastic company--you will be well taken care of if anything goes wrong. See below for details on how they went above and beyond to help me resolve a problem of my own making.I bought these struts for a large storage box I built. I messed up the lid weight and ordered struts with too much pressure. I estimated the total weight of the lid, which was wrong. I needed to measure each side of the lid where you plan to place the strut. I also mistakenly thought both struts combined were 120 lbs, when in fact it is each strut individually. All that to say, when I installed the first120 lbs strut the lid wouldn't close. Had I read the produce details more closely this wouldn't have happened. After taking a more accurate weight of the lid by measuring each corner, I emailed the company about the problem I created and asked if they could help me replace the the struts I ordered with a lower pressure set. Despite everything being my fault, they offered to replace the struts at no cost. New struts arrived within a couple of days. They were the right pressure this time and provide incredible support for the heavy lid on my storage box.

Didn’t fit
I ordered these for my tanning bed and once installed they didn’t close which meant they were slightly off size wise. Was really hoping it would fit to save me 1/2 the price of the company I bought the tanning bed from

Install was simple
To assist in lifting a fiberglass truck bed cover

holds that pickup bed cover up with no problem
my old struts were getting weak and the cover would occasionally drop, not with these, they work great and easy to install !

Great replacement
Bought to replace the windshield arms for our CanAm and these work better than the ones that came with it.

What you get may not be accuratly depicted!
20 inch 200 LB Gas Prop Struts ShocksThe first issue is with the ball connectors. The struts I received had different ball connectors than what I thought I was getting. See the pictures: The struts on the left is what I was replacing and is what I was expecting the ball connectors to be. The OEM ball connectors are much easier to install or remove than the ball connectors on the struts I received. In fact I had to ground down a screw driver in order to get the clips to release on the replacement struts. The second issue is there are no markings of any type that tells you what the capacity is of the struts. So you have to hope they sent you what you ordered.I have not tried to install the new struts but if after I get them installed and if they work as intended then I will upgrade my review accordingly.By the way it looks like the struts I received are replacements for automotive applications and look to be much heavier duty struts than the ones I replaced.Undated review as promised. The struts did work out but if I ever have to remove them then that will not be easy with the type of ball connectors on the end and limited space I have to work. They appear to be well made and if not for the issues of not being able to identify the capacities of the struts with markings and the ball connectors being so small I would have given these 5 stars.

Second time, died even quicker
I ordered a set from the same brand in summer 2021 apparently. My original was Suspa C1608054. 100 pound, 20 inch. That first set died in winter time, so I assumed maybe it was the - 40c temperatures.Ordered a second pair, these only lasted a few MONTHS. It's still summer and both of them died. I don't understand why they die. But the original Suspa brand lasted years. There's no reason for replacements to die so early. The mounting is the same as the original, and I'm sure the model number is correct, as I still have the originals.

Not as robust at the original
Replacing the struts on my 2008 Winnebago View large side bin door. I'm giving 4 starts because the price was good and the new struts fit and worked as intended (at least initially - Just installed them). However the ram on the new struts in significantly smaller, 6mm vs 8mm on the originals - see picture. Hopefully that will not impact the longevity.

Wòrked very well .
I have purchased 4 set and have not had any problems to date .My lid is about 65 to 90 pound. I have attached the lower part of the strut 8 inches from the hing pivot point using home made brackets and the upper part of the strut 21.5 inches from the hing pivot to the lid . this allows the strut to close and allows my lid to open at maybe a little more than 45 degree .the side of my box opens aswell thats why I had to make the brackets. if your side do not open just mount to the side .

Tight fit for Nissan Xterra rear hatch, but they work
I had to compress the struts a bit to get them over the OEM pivot points. After swapping out the old one, the gate is now 11" higher than before. I think these are 1" longer than Xterra struts? It easily lifts the tail gate, and I have to hold on to it near the end of the lift, as it makes the hinges bounce. Should easily support and lift a Gobi hatch-mounted ladder
