So I ordered the purple one on the right a while ago, also from Amazon. This one by far has more storage space. I have 12 skeens of yarn in this one with more room to store my granny square project between the 2 rows of skeens, ans more room to store my project in the pouch on the back. The velcro strips to hold your yarn out are less obstructive than on my purple bag. For comparison purposes the purple bag holds 6-8 skeens of yarn and can fit a baby blanket in the project workspace. The purple bag also has more pockets with an extra 2 on the sides, whereas this one only has the one in front and one in back. The side pockets are nice for holding my little crochet pouch with frequently used items so i dont have to unzip the front pouch to get to them. Now onto the front pockets which is my main reason for not giving this 5 stars the purple one has special spots for crochet hooks, whereas im having to order a secondary crochet hook organizer for this bag, BUT this one fits my large knitting needles that wont fit in the purple bag. That combined with skeen storage makes this one superior in my book.Now i could very easily switch this bag into my knitting bag and the other one into my crochet bag due to the tool storage, but the skeen difference doesnt work for my projects. Knitting: a camo and blaze orange blanket (6 skeins) Crocheting: a temeperature/weather blanket for 2020 (15 skeins) therefore im just sucking it up and buying a different organizer for my crochet hooks that i can put in this bag.

This is a HUGE amount of space for storing. The big pocket does have two separate areas and then one of those is separated into smaller areas. Each of those smaller areas can hold 1 big skein or I currently have like 4 little yarn balls in each one. The yarn feed through the top is nice, and since they're big holes, I have 4 strands out each one and don't run into issues.The front pocket is kind of lost on me because all it is is two clear zippered pockets. Not separate or anything to stick your hooks in. However the inside is so large it doesn't really matter. There are two pockets inside that front one, they're just large clear ones.The only downside I've run into so far is the velcro things near the holes. I don't know why someone would want to velcro their yarn that's being used but maybe I don't know something. But since I don't use it, it can sometimes catch my strands out the holes and pull the yarn threads but I just cut the plastic side down far enough that the soft side is past it and I haven't had any big issues since.Overall, love it.

Received this for Mother's Day and overall am very happy. It is perfect for blankets and other large projects. The one issue is the "Magic Tape" that is essentially Velcro (but that is a brand name). Velcro has no place on a knitting/crochet bag. It snags the yarn, even when the velcro is not being used.I removed the velcro with sharp snips, only cutting the thread that attached it to the bag, and that worked well with no major holes. With the velcro removed, its a fabulous bag. 😁

I am in love with this bag. I would have not picked purple until I saw a photo of a reviewer and it is much better than the purple shade in the product shots. It’s more of a medium lavender, almost jean color. I’m so glad I didn’t get a “corporate gray” or “get lost black”. The long needle carrier is sold separately but fits in the zip pocket perfectly with room for another set of my needles in the slip pocket. There are compartments in the interior for mid-project yards that fit 3 small sized yarns each in 3 slots or 1fat skein in each, plus the storage sleeves opposite and middle compartment. And the back of the bag has my other set of needles or could cut projects or a pattern book. You could travel with it for a big knitting trip. I love the storage capacity without taking up too much space and taming yarns that would fall out of a bag. I hope this will keep my needles from breaking (my track record). If you need a yarn bag, this is it. My entire tote of yarn and 2 entire needle sets and a 3rd set of long needles are all in there, plus projects in progress. What’s not in there is more yarn that already has a home. The outside is wipable, no so easily stained. It’s very light-weight and a win-win.

I love everything about this bag EXCEPT it’s overwhelming size. Great quality, sturdy fabric, handles are solid and secure. Beautiful color. All zippers work smoothly. Dividers keep everything organized with plenty of room for yarn, pattern and any accessories you can think of. All pockets close with a zipper so nothing will jump out of the bag unexpectedly. It’s just too huge to carry around or travel with unless your bringing half a yarn store with you. It’s also too large to easily keep near a chair in the living room so you can just grab your project and work on it while watching TV. If you need a very large bag this one is for you and you won’t be disappointed. If you have normal size projects and just want to have a good bag to keep near you, this one is probably too large. This configuration 30% smaller would be perfect.

I have a lot of yarn at home. At first I thought it would not All fit in this tote, but I am happy to report I was wrong. This tote is spacious and stretched to accommodate all my yarn and the outside pockets keep all my knitting and crotchet needles organized. It is light weight and easy to carry and store. Also, it has small holes at the top, so your yarn stays tidy inside the tote while feeding your yarn thru the hole in the top. I truly love this feature. I gave it 5 stars.

First - DO NOT USE until you remove the velcro. I thought I'd try it out first, then remove the velcro yarn holders, but within minutes those snaggy things had grabbed onto my smooth bamboo yarn. Clip that stuff right off, then enjoy this roomy and perfectly designed yarn crafts bag. I can keep everything I need at hand, and it's so easy to just grab the whole bag and stick it in the car or move it to another room. No need to gather what I might need because it's already all there. It holds the yarns and in-progress work securely. I no longer panic when I have to interrupt work on my project because I have a perfectly quick, secure and easy way to set it down. Great purchase.

at first i thought it was small, it was folded so nicely. as i unfold the bag the true size came out. It is huge. i used it for holding my crochet items, it holds your work, the yarn and accessories. everything in one bag. perfect, i am also thinking of buying another one as a gift. I have 2 baby blanket, about 5 or 6 balls of yarn, a few pom poms plus the accessories in it right now.

Il est très beau et beaucoup de rangement, mais il il y a trois velcro, je ne sais pas à quoi ils servent, mais ma laine s’accroche et difficile de l’enlever. Je vais essayer de trouver une façon de les enlever. C’est le seul mauvais point. J’aime beaucoup mon sac.
