Love the series. Great book. All in English and in black and white.

Ah, Tadano, will Komi and you ever get over your issues and realize you both have a crush on each other, and that you make a perfect couple? Komi, all you have to do is look at Tadano, and he instinctively knows what you are thinking. The two of you are so much in synch, you can go a whole day without uttering a single spoken word, yet carry on a nonstop conversation. It's like in the Marvel Comic's Inhumans - there, King Black Bolt cannot dare utter to even whisper a single vowel, such is the power of his ability, his voice can literally destroy mountains. Yet, his commands are always understood and carried out, as his wife, Queen Medusa, well, all she has to do is search her beloved husband's face, and instantly knows what he wants her to do or say in his stead. Now Komi and Tadano don't have super powers, but they fit together extremely well, and Tadano always knows what Komi is thinking, but can't give voice to. Shes a gorgeous gal, and communication disorder or not, she's such a kind, loving soul. Especially to her Tadano. He's the only guy she even sees. Everyone else is just a friend, be they female, male, or Najimi, lol. As for little Rei, she may have started out as a spoiled brat, but Komi quickly won her over. Now, Rei wants to be just like Komi when she grows up. Later, the gang go to Makoto's family's Dojo for a sleep over. However, Najimi shows up, and talks everyone into taking a test of courage by hiking in pairs up to a remote shrine in the dark in the middle of nowhere. Well, as anyone who loves the dog named Courage knows, "Strange things happen in the middle of nowhere!" And they sure do. Well, Komi gets paired with Tadano, then later Manbagi gets paired with Tadano, and while standoffish at first, Manbagi yet again realizes she definitely has a crush on Tadano. Fears are revealed, fortitudes are examined, and a few pranks get thrown in, by of course, none other than Najima. All in all, another enjoyable volume. I eagerly look forward to the next one.

Volume 13 of Komi Can't Communicate continues the story of Shoko Komi and her longstanding quest to make 100 friends while becoming more sociable along the way. This volume contains chapters 171 to 181 of the story. This part of the story continues over Komi's summer vacation. The first half of the volume continues the arc of her spending time with the young girl Rei while the second half returns to more summer shenanigans with Tadano, Najimi, Manbagi, and other side characters.As has been the case with every volume in this series, volume 13 offers some excellent artwork all around from expressive characters to excellent and detailed backgrounds.I found that the story in this volume is excellent as well. While it does not progress the main story arcs too much, it was enjoyable seeing Komi interact with Rei, who is initially standoffish. But Komi sees a little bit of herself in her and helps her open up. It offers many cute moments. This is in contrast to the second half which focuses much more heavily on comedy as Komi and friends spend part of their summer vacation at Katai's home and get into various humorous situations.Overall, this was another enjoyable volume in this series. If you have enjoyed this manga so far, you will surely like this installment.

Love this series. This was great to see the girls getting along and becoming closer. Also to see how hard it see for people to make friends but different reasons why and how it effects their daily lives.

Komi Can't Communicate continues to be one of the most fun manga series I have ever read. It seems to only get more and more enjoyable as the volumes go on.

This is one of the best manga series I've read. It's clever, funny and heartwarming. If you're looking for a great feel good series then read this one.
