Michael Ball & Alfie Boe: Back Together - Live in Concert [DVD] [2020]

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe at London’s 02 just before this wretched coronavirus pandemic. Makes you long to go to a live concert again. These are two wonderful singers who are comfortable in each other’s company. I missed this tour (having seen Michael Ball in concert many times) so I was really pleased to see one of the concerts released on dvd. I will watch it again and again!

Received yesterday- looking forward to watching. Well not today. Once again Amazon had sold me an incompatible disc. It is a region 2/4 disc which means only playable in UK, Europe and Australia ( I believe). This is my second purchase which requires REGION-FREE Player. I have a fairly new -Blu-Ray player and it won’t play even blu-Ray dvds from UK. THIS IS NEW RESTRICTIONS APPARENTLY. I’m going to keep it and purchase a region-free player because I have now 2 ,soon to be 3 dvds from Ball&Boe to play. Some of these have been pre-orders so BEWARE.

This dvd had me in tears, I was so overwhelmed by some of the unexpected sentimental parts that it made me very emotional. This show excelled itself and was so much longer and better than I ever could of imagined. Fantastic purchase, I highly recommend.

Didn't manage to get to the live concert and many fans were reporting it was the best yet, so I was eagerly awaiting the arrival if this dvd. Sadly, I felt it wasn't as good as the previous concerts I had attended...maybe simply missing the great atmosphere that these two generate live on stage. But don't let it put you off buying - it's certainly better than not being able to see them at all - roll on the time when we can see them live again!

As expected from the both of them, an absolutely excellent performance, have watched it several times and enjoyed it every time.

Was lucky to have been there at the O2 on the night this was recorded. Went to see it in cinema months later. Having my own recording of this fantastic tour is very special. Worth ever penny. Highly recommended!

Went to this show last March (2020) and wanted to get the did to remember the night. Great quality, great price.Now I can relive the night!
