Q: Is the board water resistant? I was thinking of using to to stretch watercolor paper, but don't want to ruin it.

If you need a waterproof board, spray it with lacquer, use multiple thin coats applied in vertical and horizontal directions.

Q: How far in is the handle hole? Would this size board still accommodate 11" x 14" sketch paper?

I have the 23" x 26" size. I intended to use it with 18" x 24" paper. The hole is centered on the 23" side, coming 2.5 " into the board T his leaves part of the paper unsupported. :/ I consider this a major design flaw. It looks as though the 13" x 17" has the opening on the longer side. If so then even if it extends 2.5 " you should be able to use it with 11" x 14" paper

Q: Where to purchase extra clip board rubber bands ?

Don't know for sure but it is to my guess that any large rubber band will work

Q: Is there no 11 x 17 version anymore?
