These were a gift for my wife. I think she loves them. I’m not sure if she likes the big one , but the s,Mall one I know she will love. She says the big one too. I wish I could order the wall hanger separate as other people have asked but, they don’t sell those separate. That’s okay. I’ll make a nice one for these.It is so nice to see the quality in the case of these trowels. I’m not sure about the weld where the handle meets the scoop but, hey, lifetime guarantee. They believe in them! I love being able to choose a nice product that the people that made them have a passion for creating. You can see and feel that in the trowels when you see them! I may get a couple of other things down the road.If you are like me and want to see more quality than quantity in the world, take a look at one of these. Maybe get one and see what you think. But, that is entirely up to you. I get that.

I don't have much experience with cheaper tools-maybe they'd work just as well; but these are certainly well-made and sturdy. I believe in buying the best tools you can afford: a cheap tool is usually an expensive tool. The trowel comes pretty dull, so get a good file, if you don't already have one, and be ready to sharpen it up. Also, these are not stainless-steel tools: they will rust if not looked after. Take care of them, and you'll be passing them on to your grandchildren.

I bought these tools as a Christmas gift for my wife. She started using them in May when the ground thawed, and now they are covered in rust. The tools look great and feel very sturdy, like they would last a lifetime, however, the protective coating over the metal began peeling the first time she used them and continued to peel and rust. I paid $189 for the 3-piece set, the tongue trowel and the dibber with brass tip. I feel like I've wasted my money. It isn't easy to take advantage of the lifetime guarantee either--can't even find a customer service phone number for the company. Not happy.

these are some good tools, particularly impressed by the claw thingy, it rips thru the ground very nicely. buy for yourself, give as a gift, these tools are worth it.
