Craftsman 311 Piece Mechanics Tool Set with 75 Tooth Ratchets

I ordered this item on 11/16/16, according to the way I had it shipped (standard) I was not going to receive this item until 11/23/16-11/30/16. It arrived at my door 11/18/16. I like that way it was packaged, and the quality of the tools, and how early it showed up. The only down side is there is not enough organizers for the sockets. It only comes with 6 socket rails, so only a quarter of the sockets are able to be organized. So they are just going to be rolling around in my drawer until I can get more socket rails for them.

I've had my eye on these for a couple years just because of their excellent price and seemingly amazing value. I had a coworker recently purchase it and being able to hold those things in my hand confirmed their quality.They are Chinese made, but Chinese made doesn't always mean poor quality. These things feel very robust, specifically the ratchets. They're exceptionally heavy and feel well built.The fact that you get all of the tools in this kit that you do and their quality makes this purchase a no-brainer. Don't buy that cheap Harbor Freight stuff. I did, and years later I'm replacing all the broken pieces of stuff, but if I had bought this first I know I would only be adding to the collection, not replacing.5 stars, without hesitation or reservations.

These might not be the Craftsman of old and made in the USA, however for the sub one hundred dollar sale price I picked these up for you simply cannot beat it. Yes the ratchets that come with it suck, but I bought it to fill out the larger size sockets that the standard 200 piece set I bought back in college have been missing all these years. The quality seems to be just as good as the original Craftsmans, I even intentionally used several of them on the impact gun to unmarry bolts that have been in place 20+ years and they took that abuse just fine. So overall, an exceptional value for what you get and if you can get it on sale, its an amazing deal.

Worst packaging every. I opened the amazon box to the craftsman box blown open. See pictures attached. Bags the tools came in were ripped. Now I need to run down the whole list and verify if anything is missing out of all 311 pieces. Not very please at all

Over all this is a very nice set. There were a few of the sockets that did not have the part that was punched out for the ratchet not completely punched through and I had to break the pieces out of the socket. The set was also missing 1 socket. Over all I would recommend again but must say that the quality of the brand is not what I have come to expect from it. I have only used for small jobs around the house, don't know how they would hold up in a shop environment.

E very decent set for the price,I work as a master technicianat work and wanted to getc a set for home that was more put together than odds and ends I hade been using previously. Good set for the money,would buy again.

I wanted a great quality set of tools to replace all of the bits and pieces of tools I had collect since I was a kid (I’m 64). Sort of like women’s shoes, I don’t need them but they sure look good.
