Trout Streams of Southern New England: An Angler's Guide to the Watersheds of Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts

I was quite pleased with this book. I live in New York State and wanted to expand my fishing into Southern and Western Connecticut. Using the "high level maps" I was quickly able to determine some other areas to fish besides the Housatonic and the Farmington River. More importantly, I caught some fish on my first day out after reading this book. (I must have been lucky as I have returned twice to the same spot with no bites). The guide gives useful written directions and made it easier for me to determine what streams and rivers I would want to fish.

Very nice book. If you are looking for some new water to get out and explore, this book nicely provides you with the access points and fishable water knowledge you need to get out and explore.

Gives a lot of information on all all of the different trout areas in southern New England defiantly takes the guessing out of where to go.

This book helps to point the newcomer in the right direction in several states. It should remove a lot of guesswork on where to go.

I am learning SO MUCH about excellent fishing areas that I didn't realize are within a SHORT drive. Great "inside" information on places that aren't "overfished".
