help protect your hands
I bought these at a reduced price and here is my honest review:These gloves are very useful for a variety of tasks in the kitchen and around the house. I am accident prone and feel like these will help protect me from hurting myself. I tested them with a knife and they didn't get cut. I have small/average female hands. The fingers are long enough to fit larger hands than mine, but the fit is a bit tight around the wrists as well as the fingers.

Size not accurate for men
I'm very disappointed in the size of these gloves! I specically ordered XL for my average size Male hands. I would say these are medium at best tho they are labled XL. Be very careful ordering this product because now I notice that most of the five star reviews were never verified purchases when you look closer. What a mistake! If these were made in the USA they would have undoubtedly fit American male hands. Too bad Amazon doesn't list the country of origin. This should be mandatory. These are way too small for XL. One star for these .Upon 2nd look at every single review (as of April 4, 2016) on this glove except one., none of the reviews were verified purchases except one that then replied they received the product on a discount from the manufacturer and then gave the gloves a 5 star rating. Interesting...

Great Gloves to Protect Your Hands
These gloves are terrific for picking up fish with sharp spines. They fit well and are comfortable.

Safety First.
The media could not be loaded. Flexible, agile, nimble, good quality !!Cut Resistant Gloves!!.Don't expect to be untouchable when wearing these. These are protective "equipment" to prevent injuries!. As always, use with caution and common sense.Wearing the glove and testing the feel and fit for a couple days, I am happy to say that, it is as comfortable and flexible for a days shift. Working on your feet and tiring enough, so, wear gloves so your hands wont get tired and worn and get cut. Use only with straight edge knives, please!.Don't use these gloves with mechanical knives such as; meat slicers, on grinding machines, buffalo choppers, robot coupes and it's not advisable to be using these on serrated edge knives; bread knives, ever edge knives, deli knives and anything that is serrated (only straight edges please). As these gloves can only handle and are effective in protecting you from being cut. And, use these gloves with these machines when ONLY cleaning and when the machines are turned off!.And with my experience, personally, I wouldn't want to use these when shucking oysters. I'd use a chain mail glove for those kinds of jobs. And with use, you'll need to get these suckers cleaned. My advise, from using these for more than a couple of years!... Hand washing them is best!. Don't use twisting motion to wring these things out. Just press, squish them like you would a lemon or something like that. I have used mine from cutting meat and cutting vegetables. Maybe, that's why they gave you a pair?!!! Use one for meat products and use one for vegetables?!!..I always use a couple of latex gloves when using these. The latex gloves prevents your sweat from "migrating" to the glove thus, preventing over seasoning of the food. Then, I'd put another latex gloves over the cut glove, this prevents it from staining, and the latex gloves would almost be the first one to catch the edge of the knife... I've soaked these on commercial detergents, quat sanitizer, and a properly diluted amount of bleach to water ratio with no negative effects... I ran a similar product to a commercial dish machine, home washer, dyer with irreversible damage. The gloves became "brittle" and stiff.Be careful out there! It was a pleasure to have tested these pair of gloves from the seller with a discounted price without any obligation of positive review. As a consumer and shopper, I rely on honest reviews, to base my decision on buying things. I depend on other consumers on their truthful and detailed experience as I don't have to go into trouble of having a product that is not adequate. And as always, if you found this review helpful, click and vote YES so, that others will know!. Thank you and have a great day.

but there is still room for movement and I like that the cuff is sewn to prevent fraying
Notice: I received these gloves at a reduced cost in exchange for an honest review.Pros: They actually fit me, and I have really long fingers!I ordered a large and it fit my long-thin hand. It fits snugly, but there is still room for movement and I like that the cuff is sewn to prevent fraying, mark the size, and keep the glove securely on your wrist. These are a must have if you use a mandolin! My mother is blind and I asked her to try these. She says she's gotten the same thing from other places, and that they are very handy. She tried these and liked the fact that they fit snug and flexed easily. For cut resistance, they worked as advertised. Don't start practicing the art of catching bladed projectiles, but do wear these to prevent mishaps in the kitchen.Cons:Please do not do that youtube thing where people demonstrate that they can cut carrots through these types of gloves. They are to prevent accidents, not to make you immune to weaponry. It's not Kevlar. They are not the most comfortable things to wear, but it's MUCH better than cutting yourself. Really, that's just a nitpick from someone with sensitive skin. Two others I had try them didn't even really notice.Once damaged, they're done. As with Kevlar, if these things get breached then you should thank them for taking the hit instead of your skin, and toss them out. Then order another pair.

Great Protection from Blades
These gloves are amazing! My husband is a fisherman & hunter. I cannot tell you how many times he has sliced his fingers deep with sharp fillet knives. When I first received these gloves, he was very skeptical because they are not super stiff or thick like you might expect. They actually bend and move quite easily. He was not sure they would provide any protection, so before trying them, he put carrots in the fingers and brought the knife down. No damage to either the carrots or the gloves. Needless to say we have both used them several times since. I love that you can put them in the washing machine to sterilize also! This product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.
