I plan to pick up an additional set (or 3) in the near future so I can dump my old wood/rubber/cork coasters that are utterly and completely eclipsed by these.If you are a hermit in the middle of the Australian Outback and are cheap and want pure function... there are better alternatives out there. If you EVER have company over, and have nice tables you care to protect... you will NOT find a better alternative until you are at 5x the price point. I can't recommend these enough! Buy with confidence!If I were to make any minor quibble... it would be with the pads on the underside to protect your desk/table/counter surfaces. Each comes with 3 pads on the underside. If placing a full drink half-on/half-off one of these in just the right way... it will wobble. Easily fixed by adding a 4th pad on the underside. Hopefully the designer will see this and make this super MINOR adjustment?
