Fine Crystal Plate & Dome

I bought this to use to hold a small plant. The base of this is very cloudy looking, it's almost frosty looking. I was expecting it to be like the picture, a "fine crystal glass plate." Rather than the hassle of sending it back, I have my little flower enclosed in it. The glass dome top is fine, just very fragile and I'll have to be careful it doesn't bump up against anything else. My plant is doing well, it doesn't seem to mind the cloudy plate, but I do.

I love this crystal plate and dome, what I don't like is that it the plate came cracked! And I don't think it was the shipper's fault, as the box it arrived in was not damaged at all... and come to think about it, neither was the product's box... so you didn't know until you opened the box and unwrapped everything that the plate had several crack in it. Too bad because it is really lovely! Now I don't plan to return it as I am using it as a base for a polymer clay project and I will be covering everything up so no one will know that the plate has problems! I will say that the dome is different from what is shown but not in a bad way, just saying that the picture could be better! Would I buy this again? Yes, I would because it is really cute and I might buy one just to show off a cupcake or something for a tea party!

The set came in a box that was well packed and appeared undamaged but the dome was shattered into a dozen pieces. The saucer is nice and was fine. The return on this is a pain and I like the saucer. I'll keep that and try to find a small dome locally. The glass on the dome is very thin. It could be pretty but I'll try to buy similar in a real store to be more sure.

This piece is very pretty, and the base plate is fairly substantial; the dome is very thin, brittle glass - super fragile. Just a heads-up, depending on what you plan to use it for.

Advise to the distributor it would be demand on the product if the quality was better such as acrylic material and woul;d stil have the look.

Cute. Great for a focal point in a restaurant or for a special occasion. Very thin. Kind of slippery to handle.

use this at work to leave treats for my friends. beats putting a napkin over a dessert. super cute and small. it's as big as the picture in relation to a standard store bought cupcake. alittle extra room for brownies or a slice of cake. it's made out of glass abut still sturdy, i've been using it at work on a monthly basis for 2 years and still no chips or cracks.

A friend gave me one of these for Christmas and I had to have more so I ordered nine more from you. These are very sweet to put at each place and "tease" for dessert. They are lovely. Thanks.
