It worked for me
So it worked, not the ideal solution for me but it beat put buying new monitors. It worked in my 3 monitor setup. Not the highest quality cable. Not the best price but it did work.

Glitches
It took a while to find the right setting to get the picture quality just right but I think my biggest issue with this product is, it keeps glitching. The screen will go black all throughout the day for about a 3 second hiccup. Was super frustrating at first but have since learned to deal with it. Lol

As amazing as description
After receiving the goods, I can not wait to try it. The effect is really as amazing as the description! When my laptop is connected to the DP interface and the display screen is connected to the VGA interface, the screen can directly display the pages from my laptop, and it is fully synchronized. The pixels are also very clear. I am a teacher, it is a good choice to use this displayport to VGA cable to project.

DP to VGA cable did not work on new Dell 5000 computers
This is DP to VGA adapter. Only works one way, DP out of the PC and VGA into the monitor. Previously, we had used these adapters successfully on other Dell models. However, on several new Optiplex 5000 PCs at different locations the display would light up but when the screen was set to sleep, it went blank and stayed black both on the screen and by remote access. User walks away from PC, screen goes to sleep, user can't wake it up. I get called and remotely, the screen is black and the only way out is to reboot. Computer was still running in the background, Initially we assumed it was the PCs because it was a new model from Dell. Hours on the phone with Dell tech support. We replaced the motherboard. Then on site, when we disconnected and reconnected the cable, the screen woke up. We reproduced this error on multiple PCs using both Dell and Samsung monitors including one new PC out of the box in my office. Two of my techs involved with 6 dell techs on phone and on site. Problem was the cable. Our solution was to replace the video out with VGA to HDMI (which meant we had to replace one of the monitors that only had VGA in.) Going forward, we can't use DP to VGA.
