For decades, I have insisted on having the Speakman Anystream shower head in every shower of every house I've owned. I just love the quality, adjustability, and sheer water pressure of the Speakman.Living here in AZ, we have extremely hard water which leaves mineral deposits on the plumbing fixtures. Our Speakman recently needed replacing because nothing removes these deposits, and it looked awful (see photo).To be fair, the Speakman still worked flawlessly. BUT when I searched it to find another, I saw that the price has risen to over $100! We have 4 shower heads, all of which will need occasional replacement, and that price seemed excessive.Instead I searched for low cost alternatives, and found this Aqua Elegante. A 66% discount and excellent reviews? Yes please! My finger flew to the Buy Now button.Two days later, (Thanks, Prime!) I received a beautifully packaged, great looking shower head. Installation was simple- two minutes max, most of which involved removing the Speakman. I used the included plumbers tape, tightened the Aqua Elegante by hand, leaving the flow restrictor in place. I love a high pressure shower, but water is expensive in the desert, so I thought I'd see…WOW. A glorious, strong stream shot out WITH THE RESTRICTOR IN. I clicked through the various settings, noting that the settings have positive, high quality stops.Several showers later, I can say for certain that I will never go back to my once beloved Speakman. The Aqua Elegante provides a superior experience at an amazing price.As for the company's claim that minerals won't build up on the silicone nozzles, I remain a bit skeptical. They build up on everything here! At the very least, I won't be dealing with $100 plus replacement costs.One final note- I paid full price for this item (no discount for this review) and don't regret a single penny spent.

The Aqua Elegante 6 function luxury shower head is by far, the best shower head I've ever owned! And I'm 65 years old! I took the water restrictor out and it has the most powerful stream I've ever experienced! I could put the restrictor back in and I bet I will still get great flow, but for now, it gets all the soap and conditioner out of my long hair super fast so I am not in the shower as long. It comes with pipe tape, which is a nice touch, and easy to understand detailed instructions, plus the water restrictor which can be easily removed. And it has a 5 year 100% money back warranty. It has rubberized nubs around the holes to keep hard water deposits from building up...you can just rub over the rubber to clean. I use the normal shower configuration and it has water coming out of the outer first 2 rows of holes...really nice heavy stream. The shower stream is perfect...it directs the water right where it is needed...on ME, NOT sprayed too far out like other showers heads where it hits the curtain and wall. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shower head. It makes taking a shower a real joy! And it is beautiful and elegant!I am VERY impressed with Bryan and his company. His customer service is unparalleled. I got an e-mail from him right after I ordered it on Amazon which was very welcoming and I could tell he would really be there for anyone if they had problems. He also followed up with another e-mail after I received it to ask if I received the shower head and if there is anything I needed from him. And he would be there for me with any future problems. I wish all companies were like this one. This would be a great country again!

This is a well-made and attractive shower head that was easy to install. Removing the flow restrictor was ever-so-slightly more difficult than I thought it would be, as it requires the use of a paperclip, screwdriver, and screw (the need for a screwdriver and screw was not anticipated). Fortunately, though, I had the necessary stuff on hand, and once I knew what to do (the instructions are clear), it took less than a minute to do it. The shower head itself is quite good, and was better than the old, leaky Waterpik shower head that it replaced. However, I honestly wouldn't call it mind-blowing, and don't think it quite deserves a five-star rating. Although the water stream is forceful, it's not really more so than the shower head I had (which also had the flow restrictor removed). Moreover, the shower massage setting is honestly not as good as the Waterpik; it is less forceful, and appears to be more of a constant stream, rather than the whirling and pulsating "thuds" that the Waterpik can produce. Still, it is strong enough, and I'll undoubtedly use it, along with two of the other settings. My only other comment/suggestion is that it would be nice if the "clicks" between the six settings were more defined. Before installing the unit, I could hear and slightly feel the click between each setting when turning the dial. However, once installed, and in actual operation, only one of the clicks can be heard, and none can be felt, so it's hard to precisely "lock in" to each setting. I think that if I were building something like this, I'd perhaps design in a little more resistance, and make each "click" setting easier to "feel," if not hear, when manipulating the dial. All in all a recommended purchase, and I intend to keep it, and keep using it for now. It's better than what I had, but I can't say it's the best shower head I've ever experienced.

This shower head is awesome!!.....I love all the settings, the dial is easy to turn, you can go through all the settings easily and I like where the dial is positioned on the shower head...really easy to use! The restrictor concerned me at first, I wanted to remove it and was worried I'd harm something if I went about it wrong, but it was easy to take out and it was just a case of follow the instructions and that's what I did!! The 6 water settings are exactly what I was looking for, there is one for whatever mood you are in and I love them all, I especially like the massage setting, it soothes aches after a hard day at work. There is Teflon tape supplied and it worked great, I have no leaks at all.... Installation was Super easy and I had old one off and new one in no time and spent the time saved enjoying a really good shower !! The company was very attentive and they want you to be happy and they mean that genuinely.....you will see when you order your Aqua Elegante shower head..... and I highly recommend you doing that......

I have recently purchased three showerheads for my new bathroom including the Speakman Anystream which cost four times the price of this.This showerhead hands down beats anything out there with a wide spray and very powerful jets it is as good as any rain shower and with an extremely powerful massage setting is so much better than the Speakman. Brilliant - you will not find anything better.
